Disappointing Friday Family Dinner We visited this restaurant on a Friday evening with a group of ten, expecting a good experience based on the reviews. Unfortunately, it turned out to be disappointing. There was only one waitress managing the entire place, and even though the restaurant was empty when we arrived, we waited nearly ten minutes without anyone acknowledging us. She was polite and tried her best, but it was clear she was overwhelmed. We even helped rearrange tables ourselves. Many items on the menu were unavailable, so we ordered only what she recommended. The appetizers were overly salty, and the shrimp was just okay. The pot pulav was the biggest letdown—undercooked and watery, more like a soup than pulav. The waitress agreed it needed more cooking time. Overall, both the food and service need significant improvement. If things continue this way, it will be hard for the restaurant to stay competitive. There’s still time to fix these issues and live up to the reviews.

Perfectly cooked Kunda Mutton Biryani! 🤤🔥 The taste was absolutely excellent. We came all the way from California and wanted to try some different and authentic food in Texas, and this place definitely did not disappoint! The biryani was full of flavor, and the mutton pieces were incredibly juicy, tender, and perfectly cooked. 😍🍖 It was so satisfying and completely worth the visit. Definitely coming back again on our next trip to Texas! Highly recommended for anyone who loves a flavorful, delicious mutton biryani! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

If you want to experience true South Indian cuisine, Nag’s Kitchen is definitely worth a visit! The ambience is great, and the restaurant is clean, neat, and welcoming. The Chatpata appetizer was the highlight—full of flavor and absolutely delicious. Pudina Paneer Tawa Pulav is so delicious and ended with a delicious and refreshing Mango Mojito, a perfect way to end the meal. The food has an authentic South Indian taste that really stands out. Definitely worth trying if you’re looking for genuine South Indian flavors and a great dining experience!

Nice staff..good seating and ambience... Tried Gobi Chatpata which is authentic style and Paneer kaju Biryani ,it's really too good and the spice levels are adding according to requirement and quantity wise sufficient for 2 people. Overall we njoyed the food with good taste....

We visited as a group of 9. I’m a vegetarian, so I personally ordered the Ulli Kaaram Vankaya Biryani, while my friends ordered two Chicken Kunda Biryanis, one Mutton Kunda Biryani, and two Chicken Chatpata dishes. My Ulli Kaaram Vankaya Biryani was disappointing. The brinjal was very hard instead of being soft and well-cooked, and the biryani was far too salty. Based on the feedback from my group, the Chicken Kunda Biryani and Chicken Chatpata were excellent, with the Chicken Chatpata being a standout favorite. However, the Mutton Kunda Biryani wasn’t up to the mark this time. They mentioned it used to be much better on previous visits, but the quality has dropped. The service also needs improvement. There were no water glasses on the table, the water jug was empty, and even after asking, it took a while to get water. We also weren’t provided with napkins, spoons, or forks. I don’t think the servers were the issue. It was clear they were working hard, but with only two staff members handling orders, serving food, clearing tables, and assisting a packed restaurant, they were simply overwhelmed. I hope the restaurant improves both its staffing and consistency because it clearly has some great dishes, but this visit didn’t live up to expectations.
