- BBBLOct 8, 20265.0Had a great shopping experience at the Portland HEB. Found everything I needed and of course going mid-morning in the middle of the week makes it nice too. The checker, Rebecca G., was engaging and was so nice and helpful. She even cautioned me to be careful of the glass in one of the plastic bags and even double bagged it for me. It's that little extra step, which she didn't have to take, is what I appreciate. You don't get that everywhere. It's taking that bit of time and that extra step for me the customer, that makes it worthwhile. KUDOS to Rebecca. Please recognize and thank her for me.

- DGDelilah GonzalezSep 13, 20262.0I live in Aransas Pass, but I go to this location, because the bakery is better or so I thought. I was going to buy sprinkly doughnuts, but they looked awful so I confronted the manager and she said they primarily focus on speed over quality. At least that's what I got from the conversation. Yet when I go, the women in this bakery are talking, laughing, and gossiping and roll their eyes when you ask for help with something. At this point, we might as well serve ourselves. What speed are you exactly focused on? Because I'm not getting it from the service that these ladies provide. Some days, things look beautiful and other days, it looks like garbage. I don't know if they switched bakers out or what, but the management in this section needs to get it together!
