Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- DEDana Eldridge3 days ago5.0I visited location 812 on Coit Road the morning of 9/10/26. I was greeted by Mohammed K at the counter who took my order. While placing my order, I noticed a gentleman walking through the dining room enthusiastically greeting each table and offering condiments, refills and such. He noticed me as I was waiting for my to go order and gave me a warm and genuine , “How are you this morning?” As I picked up my order, Mohammed asked if I would like a cup of coffee. After declining, he informed me that it was free. I declined again because I already had coffee. I work for a large casual dining restaurant brand and Guest Relations is one of the departments that I manage. I know how hard it is to find people with this level of enthusiasm and service. The restaurant was clean and the food was perfect. All of the above point to a great leader - either the GM, DO or both. Thanks go out to the entire team here!

- CMChunky Munky5 days ago3.0I went here around mid night, we had just returned from a beach trip. The cashier looked like he working solo, but still very courteous. The food was delicious and fresh. My issue was not receiving receipts and the BBQ sauce that I paid for on top of almost $30 for 2 meals. The sauce was $0.54 so not worth spending the gas to return for it after waiting for our order, and then it felt like a moot point without a receipt.
