Delina is so sweet and was very patient with me. I changed my order multiple times and she was very good at making sure I got everything I wanted. The pulled pork sandos are a favorite and I’m excited to try the banana pudding that was suggested.

Courtney was the best!!! I usually get lunch here but her energy is infectious. I’m looking forward to coming back every time I’m there. Everyone is very professional and polite, but she’s the best by far.. Worth the wait if there’s a line.

This was absolutely the worst place I have ever eaten. I was horrified when the tray came out , and there were 2 pieces of soggy brisket just slapped on it. The name itself is an insult. A true Texan would never BBQ like that. I wouldn't recommend that place to my dog.

Tried HEB BBQ for the first time after walking by so many times. It was honestly a pleasant surprise. I'm grading it based on what I'd expect from a grocery store vs from a premium BBQ restaurant.
They have lots of options and you can choose to order ahead if you want to shop first which is nice. Got the two meat plate with fatty brisket and burnt ends and sides of fried okra and collared greens.
The fatty brisket was very moist and had a vibe smoky flavor. Burnt ends were pretty moist and flavorful as well. A slight step below what you'd get at a place like Hutchins despite being around 50% cheaper. As of today, it's $29/lb for brisket vs Hutchins which is up to $40/lb.
The sides were decent. I liked that they had lots of options including desserts and veggies that you don't always see. The fried okra was a large portion but was easy over salted otherwise would've been great.
Definitely a great option for some delicious BBQ at a great value and super convenient combined with a shopping trip to HEB.

I visited this BBQ place for the first time, and overall, the food seemed promising. I placed my order smoothly, but when I got to the window, I was told they were out of their loaded potato—an item that I was really excited to try. For a restaurant so close to H-E-B, I expected better stock management, especially if that’s a featured item. To top it off, I waited about 30 minutes for my food, which felt far too long. I hope they can improve their inventory and speed, because I’d give them another try if they do.
