- MBMeshon Bonner3 days ago2.0Very very clean!! I don’t know if it’s because it was slow but it’s one of the cleanest grocery stores I’ve ever been to. Now the reason for my low rating—I didn’t come here to shop, but I was here picking up an order for a customer and the employee that was working in the pick up order area (5/17/26) was so very rude and out of line! I don’t think I’ve come across an employee is rude in a while. She didn’t greet me like a normal person and instead of at least saying something along the lines of “how can I help you” She just looked at me and then moved her neck while rolling her eyes in the gesture of ‘what do you want’ in an irritated manner. After giving her the customer’s name she audaciously overstepped her role asking me “I was just wondering what took you so long to pick up when it says you checked in 15 minutes ago”. I felt this was very rude and out of line for one because I’m an adult and have been for a while. Two I was picking up this order through a third party company and she is a Tom Thumb employee… I don’t believe I owe her any explanations. And lastly, I had gotten there about five minutes prior to use the restroom, so there’s no way it was 15 minutes. I do not appreciate her questioning me like shes my boss or like I’m a child. Especially since I work for myself. I love Tom Thumb. But This interaction makes me want to bypass this location In the future!!!
