I had one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time at Fleming’s Steakhouse. Looking back, the first warning sign should have been that the restaurant was about two-thirds empty on a Friday evening. Unfortunately, things only went downhill from there.
The biggest issue was that the air conditioning was either broken or completely unable to keep up. As the evening went on, the dining room became increasingly warm and uncomfortable, making it difficult to enjoy the meal. For a restaurant that positions itself as an upscale steakhouse with premium prices, this was disappointing.
The service was acceptable. Our server was polite, attentive, and did the best they could given the circumstances. The restaurant itself is attractive, with a nice atmosphere and elegant décor. Unfortunately, those positives couldn’t make up for the food.
The steaks and side dishes simply didn’t live up to the reputation or the price. Nothing stood out as exceptional, and the meal lacked the quality and flavor I expect from a high-end steakhouse. When you’re paying premium prices, the food should be memorable, but this meal was forgettable.
For the same amount of money, I would much rather dine at Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse. In my experience, Del Frisco’s consistently delivers better steaks, better flavor, and a much better overall dining experience.
I wanted to enjoy Fleming’s because the restaurant has a great appearance and friendly staff, but the combination of the uncomfortable temperature and underwhelming food left me disappointed. I won’t be returning, and I can’t recommend it when there are significantly better steakhouse options available at the same price point. The steak looked good but dry when You slice into it
This is my first time at Flemings steak house. You wont find a nicer place. The bar is so beautiful. The atmosphere is amazing. I was greeted right away by the host. I chose to sit at the bar since I was dining alone. The bartender Candace took care of me. She recommended I try the dry aged steak and the loaded baked potato. My food arrived not long after. Even one of the managers, Michael, came to check on me. Very nice gentleman. Really knows alot about the menu and explains everything so well. The steak was cooked perfectly an amazing medium rare. I could smell the flavors before it even reached my table. From start to finish I felt like a king. The staff made me feel very welcomed and comfortable. I will definitely return. Im excited to try the lobster next.
Also, there is plenty of parking. Valet parking up front and parking in the garage that is validated when you leave.
My wife and I recently celebrated our anniversary at Fleming’s, and the evening made for a memorable experience. Reservations were easy to secure, and parking was plentiful and convenient. We were seated promptly in a booth (our preferred choice) and were pleasantly surprised to find our anniversary acknowledged with a beautiful long-stemmed red rose for my wife, and five days later it still looks wonderful; a thoughtful touch deserving mention.
Our server, Pierre, truly elevated the evening. He was personable, attentive, patient, and engaging throughout the meal. We highly recommend requesting Pierre if you're dining at Fleming’s. The ambiance was perfect for the occasion, and our table offered just the right amount of privacy.
The menu offers enough variety that most diners should find something appealing. We started with the crab cakes appetizer, which I would rate 2.5 out of 5. Since it is intended to be shared, I would suggest serving the two cakes separately with a portion of the sauce on each plate. Personally, I would recommend trying another appetizer.
The Chopped Wedge Salad came next, which was thoughtfully split into separate servings. It was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. We recommend asking for the dressing on the side. While the dressing itself was excellent, we found it a bit overpowering and felt it detracted from the fresh flavors of the salad.
My wife ordered the lobster, which was presented beautifully. The shell was removed tableside, and the meat was tender, succulent, and perfectly complemented by melted butter. I chose the dry-aged prime ribeye, requesting it medium, but it arrived closer to medium-well. I chose not to send it back, but I was disappointed. There was nothing particularly exceptional about the steak. It was somewhat salty, though I happen to enjoy that flavor. More importantly, the cut was noticeably thinner than I expected—less than an inch thick, whereas I anticipated a steak closer to 1½ to 2 inches. For a steakhouse serving a 16 oz. dry-aged prime ribeye, it simply did not meet my expectations.
We passed on dessert, as we're not big on sweets, but were presented with a box of house-made chocolate nuggets. They were rich, luscious, and a delightful finish to the evening.
Overall, Pierre’s outstanding service and Fleming’s thoughtful touches made our anniversary celebration enjoyable and memorable. While my steak was disappointing, the ambiance, service, and attention to our special occasion made for a very pleasant evening.
Wifey chose this spot for our date night. The setting and staff were great! We had 2 minor issues. Our appetizer took longer than expected. The manager came by and apologized for the inconvenience. He comped our appetizer and dessert. The other thing was our steak wasn't cooked to our specifications. However, it wasn't dry or tough. Other than that, I would give them 5 stars. I do recommend you try this spot because the food was really good and the staff were very hospitable.

My fiance and I went to Flemings in Plano this past weekend for our anniversary dinner and it was absolutely perfect. We had an early reservation and sat at a perfectly decorated booth by the window. A rose, petals, and a card personally signed by the staff along with 2 glasses of champagne were on the table waiting.
Our server, Kelly, was a pure delight to sit with and enjoy our experience. He gave us ample time to look at the menu and personal suggestions. We decided on the calamari to start with and let him know we were in no rush. After some time, we both decided on a filet with lobster tail and scallops. The filet melted like butter and the lobster tail was probably one of the best I've ever had. We chose a few different sides since we couldn't make a decision. Every single side was delicious! But let me just say the Flemings potatoes were my personal favorite. Kelly was so friendly and attentive. I can confirm my water glass never fell past half full, not once.
While we were dining, the manager, Steven, came by a few times to check on us. He was enthusiastic and we were happy to chat with him about our meal and time there. He came by with an iPad, asked for our permissions to take a photo. Five minutes later he came back with the photo framed with 'Congratulations '... a sweet memory we'll always have. Steven suggested their Lava cake for dessert and even though I was so full, it didn't sound like something I could pass up. It came and did not disappoint. Perfectly soft with strawberries and ice cream.
When everything was done, both Kelly and Steven made sure to say good bye for the night. Overall a wonderful amazing first experience here. Impressive! We will be back to see them again.
