  i love this place the atmosphere is nice and all the food i’ve tried has been good. my fav is the chicken sandwich and the lemon cake is good too

  Absolutely terrible experience. The customer service was one of the worst I’ve experienced at a steakhouse. Our server was constantly rushing us and made us feel like we were an inconvenience rather than paying customers. The attitude throughout the meal was extremely unwelcoming and honestly made us feel like we didn’t belong there or weren’t worthy of being there. To make matters worse, the steak was covered in an excessive amount of salt and was extremely difficult to eat. For a steakhouse, the food quality and preparation should be the bare minimum, and this completely missed the mark.

  Oh my goodness this restaurant was amazing. We are here this week for Mary Kay Sapphire Seminar. Looking for places near the Sheraton downtown, we stumbled upon you after having been referred by friends earlier! The ambience, the restaurant GOR waiter it was all amazing! We live in Irving my husband and I will definitely be back here. My Director lives in Austin and she was very impressed also! We had the short ribs so yummy and those onions on top oh my goodness but the Pizza resistance of the whole night was that coconut cream pie. It’s very hard to find that in Texas and I will definitely be back for that. Thank you so much. It was a wonderful dinner. We had such a good time and you guys did not rush us out as we sat and visited.

  I had such a wonderful experience at Del Frisco’s Grille in Plano during Restaurant Week. I came in Thursday evening around 6:45–7 PM and dined alone, and everything from the food to the hospitality was exceptional. I started with the Iceberg Lettuce Wedge with hickory-smoked bacon, tomatoes, blue cheese dressing — fresh, flavorful, and delicious. For my entrée, I had the Filet Medallions with hand-mashed gold potatoes, roasted tomatoes, and bourbon peppercorn sauce. Absolutely DIVINE. The filet was tender, perfectly prepared, and that bourbon peppercorn sauce brought everything together beautifully. I finished with the strawberry cheesecake to go, which was the perfect ending. What truly made my evening memorable, though, was the manager. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch his name, but he stopped by my table and was incredibly kind and personable. I shared that my grandfather had recently passed, and the genuine compassion he showed me meant more than he probably realized. Sometimes exceptional hospitality isn’t just about great service — it’s about how you make someone feel. Thank you to the management and staff at Del Frisco’s Plano for giving me such a lovely experience during a difficult week. Excellent food, exceptional hospitality, and genuine kindness. 10/10 — I will absolutely be back.

  2026 Restaurant Week Kickoff we thought would be great and while the food here was good the service was rough. After being set at 5pm it was about 5-10 minutes before anyone came to the table. Our waitress Ciara was good with refills but missed serving a full entree and when we asked where it was we were advised "Are you still hungry?"...at which point we asked for the burger and salad to just to go. However we recived a burger and fries to go. With no apologies and the restaurant being slow at the time we just found the service a bit challenging for our family. Hoping others do not have this experience but wanted to give an honest review.
