  We made reservations at Del Friscos Double Eagle recently for our 20th anniversary we had an amazing experience. The service was excellent and so accommodating. I love the Del’s salad but always worry I will get too full. They will split this with another person at your table if you want which is perfect. I always get a steak as they are seasoned and cooked to perfection. My family also said the shrimp was some of the best and all dishes were loved and they will box up all leftovers. We loved it so much we went back for my husband’s 50th birthday dinner where they put us in a private dinning room. We really enjoyed that experience and will definitely consider for future events. I only wish I could remember the names of our servers to give them a special thanks. A place to make you feel like you are a VIP!

  I visited Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse in Plano today (Friday, July 3) to celebrate my birthday. Unfortunately, service was poor and inconsistent from the hostess to the waiter. We waited more than 25 minutes with no attention or ability to place a drink or food order, and we ultimately left without being served. Given the restaurant’s reputation and pricing, this experience fell far short of expectations.

  I stopped by Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse for a business dinner with a confirmed reservation. Unfortunately, my experience ended before I ever made it to a table. When I arrived, the woman at the front desk made me feel as though I was inconveniencing her simply by checking in. We quickly realized my client had accidentally gone to the other Del Frisco’s location. When I politely asked where it was and for the address so I could update my Uber, I was told, “It’s a two-minute walk behind you.” As someone who was dressed professionally and wearing heels, that response felt dismissive rather than helpful. A simple offer of the address or a little empathy would have gone a long way. I’m sure the food may be excellent, and I genuinely would have loved the opportunity to try it. But in hospitality, first impressions matter. Based on my interaction with the front desk, I’ll choose another steakhouse in Dallas before returning here.

  On Saturday my wife and I had the pleasure of dining with Jorge as our server. He was AMAZING! Very attentive, always on top of things, and everything came out promptly and perfect. From cocktails to perfectly cooked cuts it was one of the best experiences we have had there. Will be going back and asking for Jorge every time.

  it was horrible. We went Mother’s day a year ago. They don’t have the same bread they used to its rolls and Texas Roadhouse has way better. .They didn’t ask us to cut into steak to see if it was to our liking was do so they didn’t even stay for us to cut into our steaks to see if they were cooked to our liking which most upper end steakhouses do, Got their potatoes augratin and they were flavorless. They told us it was a new menu item. We lived in Colorado and went to the Greenwood Village one quite a bit and it was always delicious they always had the potatoes augratin but they were much better. Don’t know if the Colorado one went downhill and is like this one now but we will never go back. only reason giving it 3 stars is because the service was great wasn’t our waiters fault.
