  I enjoy the ice cream from Sonic, but there are a couple of things about the drive-thru experience that bother me. Every time I pull up to the speaker, I either end up having to pull forward to the window because no one answers, or I have to wait longer than expected for a team member to acknowledge me. I would prefer to simply pull up to the intercom and place my order without having to wait or move forward. The overall wait time at the drive-thru isn’t usually too bad, but when I do reach the window, I can’t help but notice how greasy and dirty the window looks every time I go. It honestly looks unpleasant and makes the experience feel less clean. Keeping the drive-thru window clean and making sure customers are acknowledged promptly at the speaker would make a noticeable difference in the overall experience.

  I went through the drive through and placed my order at 10:15, I did not receive my food until 10:45. 30 minutes! 30 minutes and the girl who handed me my food apologized but assured me my tots were fresh. My tater tots were cold. Cold to the touch cold as in they felt like they hadn’t been warm for some time now. I brushed it off there because well after waiting for 30 minutes my pregnant girlfriend at home was still waiting for her food. To top it off my PREGNANT gf’s RT 44 sweet unsweet tea with peach , had not a drop of peach and for some reason included lemonade. No where on the receipt was there lemonade included. Then as my gf taste it and figures out it is not correct , she also cannot help but taste the horrible taste of old tea or mold or whatever it is that they may have sitting in those bins of tea , even the lemonade couldn’t mask it. To top it off we called to complain and at the very least yes they gave us a refund but the girl on the phone was trying to say “sorry but they left me with nothing” to quote her. So if she knew she did not have what I ordered why try to substitute my order without informing me? Sad to say but what used to be a good sonic is just horrible now. Their workers are slow and incompetent. They have no customer service and on top of that are they even staying on top of serving safe food ? Just take it from me do not waste any of your time there who knows if they even clean their containers.

  JD was the best customer service experience I ever had in the valley. Made it really easy for me to ask multiple questions without him getting mad for me not knowing the menu. I'll definitely come back.
