Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Love this location. The lobby is clean , the restrooms too. The cashier Mrs.Debora was a wonderful cashier. She took our orders and let me know how to use my points. The kitchen staff worked fast and the food was excellent. If you ever stop by this location you’ll be pleased and comfortable eating inside the restaurant.

Just went to the drive-through before getting to work. Order two bacon, egg, and cheese taquitos. The guy at the window offered the combo I said no I get to work, but I only have one nice way to start the day….

Food and service was fast compared to other whataburgers I have visited. The manager named Amber stepped in to help the line upfront, and had the best customer service…will definitely be coming back to this location soon….

This location deserves a zero! I went here 5/10/2026 and did a drive-thru order. Spent roughly $54 on food. First we came during shift change and when I asked for my receipt at the first window I was told to get it from the second window and they will give it to me. Okay, fine, but now for situations like this I wish I had my full receipt which I never got. Only the one taped to the bag that had our items on it. We asked for an order of biscuits and gravy and only charged for a side of gravy, which then left someone without their food. Then we also got asked to pay for our food again while sitting at the second window and when I told them I already paid but I didn’t get my receipt the worker said hold on and popped his head back in and just said okay about it. We got shakes and weren’t even handed the correct one and when I asked for the correct flavor was told they did give me the right one. “No, we ordered chocolate and this is vanilla” tried to hand it back to them and the worker just rolled her eyes and said okay, then gave us the correct flavor. My point is though, why are you trying to argue with me when it says it on the screen…then we sat and waited a good 18 mins for them to do their shift change and get our food and to wait that long you’d think the food would be fresh and good. Absolutely not. I live exactly 8 mins from the restaurant and when I got home both my husband and my burgers were AWEFUL!! Cold and smashed…once again didn’t get the biscuits and gravy and only a side of gravy and we ordered a thing of wings as well and they practically had no sauce on them. We called and spoke with OZZY and he asked if we wanted to come back and honestly after an exhausting day at work for us both we didn’t. We just air fried our burger and stretched it and made it work. Ozzy told me to write on the receipt and I explained I didn’t have the receipt with the prices on it only the food items and he said that was fine to write his name, “Ozzy” and “remake” that they will honor it. Fast forward to this evening when my husband and I both worked and just decided to finally go back and get our remake and we were denied the full remake. Rejected by the manager, whoever that is because the employee brought it to the back and told me, “the manager said we can remake one meal because this was a month ago and we also don’t have one of the meals you got.” Why should that matter…? You should be able to give me something of less or equal value. We walked out though because this is not the first or second time we have had to call complain and get a remake but the third…
