  I stopped at this Sonic location simply to purchase a bag of ice through the drive‑thru. When I reached the window, the employee informed me they were “out of bags for ice until tomorrow.” I asked if I could at least have a complimentary cup of ice, considering the inconvenience. She said “one moment,” walked away, and returned several minutes later only to repeat the same line—that they were out of bags and therefore could not provide a cup of ice either. That explanation made no sense, so I left and decided to call the restaurant to speak with a manager. They answered the phone and immediately hung up. There are several issues here: - No problem‑solving or flexibility from the employee - No basic customer service - No willingness to offer a simple, inexpensive solution - Hanging up on a customer instead of addressing the concern A cup of ice costs less than a dollar, two max. Losing customers over something so small shows a complete lack of training, leadership, and customer‑care standards. This experience was disappointing and unnecessary, and I hope management takes steps to improve service at this location.
