  I recently used self checkout , and I felt that I was being profiled at self check out , I’m a brown skin elderly Hispanic mixed race woman that looks Mexican and indigenous, I want to know is HEB using AI and I want to know why I’m the only one and other brown skin have problems with self checkout , if you have white skin you won’t have a problem at self checkout , I feel we’re forced to use self checkout especially at Krogers and Randall’s , I stood there and watched others customers and not one customer white skin customer experienced what I experienced , for every item I scanned the employee had to put his password for me to use self checkout I had 10items and he had to enter his password 10 times , it’s discrimination and it’s racist and I have experienced this at Krogers too, Krogers forces you to use self checkout because they don’t have cashiers in the evening , we’re not communist yet and I should be able to use a cashier at Krogers not forced to use self checkout

  Ive been a huge HEB fan . Its a Texas store. As long as there is a HEB within decent distance, ill never go to another store

  I know I can’t do anything about this because HEB is a billion dollars company, they are using AI at self service profiling brown skin Hispanic women that look Mexican and indigenous, Krogers does it Randall’s does it, ,tonight I was checking out at this location and every item I checked out , the employee had to put his password in to unlock and then he questioned me did I put it in the bag, than after I checked out I stood on the side to see if any white person would go through what I went through , not one white Person had a problem checking out like I did , it’s racist and they discriminate, please use the cashier and save you the profiling , I’m handicap and I can barely use my right hand because it’s very numb , but I force myself to use my hand , so it takes a while for me

  Love the store, clean, merchandising is easy to understand well stocked. The employees are so nice. One employee that sticks out to me personally is Shannon. I asked her about an item Not only did she look at me like why am I speaking to her. But instead of helping to look or pulling out the phone thing. She advised me if I don’t see then it’s not there.. Someone with that kind of disposition needs to be in the back.

  Chicken Jerky treats are bad. It has been on the shelf for 2 weeks. At 45.00 a bag pet owners can tell when the product is bad by the color. This is why the bags are still on the shelf. I brought it to the attention of the employees standing in front of the cashiers and they did not seem to care.
