There was one rude Chinese lady that works at the bakery that told me to close the bread container lid after I was finished grabbing what I wanted - really? I went to checkout and two girls - Noemi and Mikayla were deep into conversion about how their mother was asking when she was going to pay her car insurance and so on. Neither one engaged in starting a conversion with me and were too busy talking about their personal lives but how hard is it to ask, "Hi, how are you doing today?" I get it; we all have issues going on, but at work, you are supposed to leave that stuff behind. Employees seem miserable probably because of poor management. The new HEB on El Dorado is ten times better.
