Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- JJJavierAug 16, 20261.0I’m usually a huge fan of Whataburger, but my experience at the Paris, Texas location was terrible. I decided to dine inside, but the dining area was disgusting—flies everywhere and ketchup smeared across the tables with no sign of anyone cleaning. To make matters worse, the drink station was a mess. All the fountain drinks were either flat or completely missing flavor, and the sweet tea tasted like brown dirt. When I asked the manager, Brittany, if I could substitute it for a lemonade and offered to pay the difference after she claimed it was "too expensive," it took her 20 minutes just to get me the drink. By the time I finally got my drink, my food was ice-cold. Getting extra ketchup was another agonizing wait. The entire staff was completely unorganized. I definitely won't be returning to this location.
