Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I’ve been going to this Whataburger almost once or twice a month since I moved back to the valley in march due to convenience/gas mileage/nostalgic purposes. And let me tell you… the customer service is terrible… the food is terrible/cold to the point I’ve had to call to have my food remade or a credit given every time I’ve gone, Managment won’t follow appropriate food safety procedures such as holding times (patties are hard and fries are cold) and sanitation (the lobby and kitchen are always dirty when I go by) I WAS going to stop by tonight for the late night munchies BUT for the first time in my life… I sat in the parking lot and looked for the nearest Whataburger that was closest to this location. Idk why ratings are a 4.0 on here but on Apple Maps their rating is a whopping 67%. So their rating on here should be at least 3.35 stars. Anyways. Don’t go here even if it’s only 6 mins away... not unless they’re discounting the kind of food they’re selling because spending 15$ for terrible food is not worth it
