7-5-26 Wife and I pulled into the drive thru for a couple of burgers and a smoothie. As I began to order the girl on the other end started interrupting right away. I was trying to ask for a plain burger with onions, but she couldnt understand the order, kept asking which number I wanted and finally just told me to pull around. When I got to the window, I asked again for a small burger plain with onions. She asked if I meant the number 1. I said "no, Dont you have a small burger, like a kids burger or something" She said she would get the manager and closed the window. At that point, I drove away. Why is it so hard to order a plain burger? I dont work at DQ and never have. Listen to the order, look at your menu and push the correct button. And for God's sake, stop interrupting and the order might make sense!
The DQ just down the road from us has always been a "go to" for a "meal out" or something cold on a hot day. However, when we went through the drive through about 2:00 this afternoon, we were greeted by a girl who must have wanted to be somewhere else. She was nothing but rude. I never gave an order. Instead, we drove through and went to Pizza Hut, which is also near our home. I am writing to let you know why we didn't order anything. I gave you two stars instead of one because of past good service.

I’ve ordered here many times for the past 2 years and have not been disappointed with the people that work here. The BeltBuster with Fries and Drink were warm and fast when we ordered and the customer service was nice with one of the employees always asking us if we needed anything or if we mist anything else.
I visited Dairy Queen with my son and unfortunately had a disappointing experience.
The positive side is that our order was taken quickly, and the staff was polite when I pointed out an error. However, we ordered a plain Hunger-Buster and a chicken sandwich combo, and the first order brought to our table was incorrect. The burger had toppings on it when it was supposed to be plain. I returned it, and the employee apologized, explaining that the orders had been mixed up, which means another customer likely received the wrong order as well.
After waiting several more minutes, I finally received my chicken sandwich. Unfortunately, it appeared to be overcooked. The chicken was very hard when bitten into and not enjoyable to eat. At that point, I chose not to complain again and simply left it as it was.
What concerned me most was that while waiting, I noticed the employees at the front spending time on their phones instead of focusing on customers.
Mistakes happen, and I appreciate the apology for the incorrect order, but between the mixed-up food, the long wait for corrections, and the quality of the chicken sandwich, this was not a very good experience.
