Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Your pickup scheduling system is poorly designed and very misleading. It’s far too easy to select the wrong pickup time by mistake. What’s even worse is that there’s no way to cancel the order or receive a refund. This is a terrible customer experience.

This location is pathetic. Took 7 minutes for someone to take my order with nobody in line. Takes at least 20 minutes to get the food out. The floor and tables are disgusting. After finally getting the food they didn’t even get the order right.

Or other chicken strips meal. Did not get any Texas toast with it. The strips aren’t strips at all! They taste bland without any flavor at all! The gravy is like water without flavor! I will not be ordering here anymore! What a waste!

I hate writing bad reviews because Whataburger is actually my favorite place to eat, but this new Faudree location was one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had in a long time.
First off, the building is tiny. Finding a place to sit felt like playing musical chairs. The dining room was dirty, with trash on the floors, smashed ketchup everywhere, and tables covered in crumbs like nobody had touched a rag all day.
The drink station was a disaster. Every coke I tried was completely flat zero carbonation. The tea tasted like it had been sitting there since the grand opening.
Then came the wait. It took 30 minutes to get our food, which is impressive considering there were people serving prison sentences that probably got fed faster. When the burgers finally arrived, they were pink in the middle. The only thing they got right were the fries—they were hot and actually pretty good.
Honestly, I’ve had more enjoyable experiences sitting in a DMV waiting room watching ticket numbers move in slow motion. At least there I know disappointment is part of the process.
For a brand-new restaurant, this place feels like it’s already given up. Hopefully management gets things turned around because right now this location is doing its best impression of a Whataburger parody.
The fries earned the one star. Everything else was fighting to take it away.

I ordered ahead online to get a green chile double and a chicken sandwich for curbside. 25 minutes later I had to go inside and ask where my order was, and I was told they were working on it. 5 minutes later the guy comes out, hands me a bag and takes off before I can check my order.
No chicken sandwich, none of the options on the green chile double I ordered, and thanks to their 30 minute time to fill my order, no time for me to go back in and try to get it right. So now I’m out time, food, and the money I paid for the food that I didn’t get.
I get that it’s a new location, but this place needs some leadership.
