Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I went on 08/11/2026 at around 4:45. I asked for light ice, and when I got to the window, the guy said, "I made your drink with light ice, but if you don't like it, I will make it again" (left me in shock 🫢). "When I received my food, the girl gave me the biggest smile and said thank you and have a good day. I believe her name was Cheyenne. Some may say this is normal behavior, and I would say yes, it should be normal behavior. If you've been to restaurants, you would see that not everyone is polite and not everyone has a good attitude. From taking my order to getting me my food, this was a pleasant experience. I have no complaints.

Secondly, I enjoy the interaction with the employees and management because they are always friendly and inviting. And finally, this has to be the cleanest Whataburger that I have ever been to! Thank you guys! Go and enjoy a meal at this neighborhood store!
