Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- AMAlex MartinezJun 30, 20261.0I have visited this Whataburger drive-thru several times, and every interaction I’ve had with Alex on the night shift has been consistently disappointing. He has come across as rude, dismissive, and unwelcoming every single time. He makes no effort to greet customers, smile, or provide even basic friendly customer service. I’ve given the benefit of the doubt because everyone can have a bad day, but after multiple visits with the exact same experience, it’s clear this has become a pattern. Each interaction feels cold and indifferent, as though customers are an inconvenience rather than valued guests. Great customer service doesn’t require long conversations—just basic courtesy and professionalism. Unfortunately, that has been missing every time I’ve been served by Alex. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and coaches him on providing a more positive customer experience, because one consistently negative interaction is enough to make customers think twice about returning.
