Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- SWshaun walker3 days ago1.0Absolutely ridiculous!! This use to be a great location. Currently in drive thru and have been for 24 minutes. Saturday night shift change whatever excuse you might be thinking. This is the first shift change and Saturday night you’ve been open. Fix this crap. Total time ended up being 46 minutes. Employee was friendly and apologized but no sense of urgency at all. The two employees were overwhelmed for sure. Food was great. It was fresh which was surprising after that long of wait.

However , every single time I’ve gone at night, Ashley at the drive through window lets me take my time when ordering, and is just overall so sweet! I have figured out to come at night time because I know there will never be an issue! Thank you Ashley for being so sweet all the time! She ALWAYS has a smile on her face!!!

But I liked the vibes there so I stayed and ate there. The manager Lea Camacho even came out to see if I needed anything. Great customer service for sure! 👍🏼
