Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Have been several times at all hours of the day and the staff has always been courteous!

Came in morning on a Thursday. FOH manager took my order, cleaned tables, refilled ice teas. He was doing it all. Bathroom was clean and the food was whataburger.

Talk about rude, nasty attitude and completely unprofessional.
The employee wearing the name tag "Krislyn R." left a lasting impression...and not in a good way. From the moment she took my payment, her demeanor was cold, dismissive, and unnecessarily hostile. I also observed the expression and body language she displayed toward both me and the customer ahead of me, which only reinforced the impression that this behavior was intentional rather than an isolated bad moment.
As a paying customer, I expect basic courtesy and respect. Instead, I left feeling unwelcome and disrespected. Whether this treatment was directed specifically at me or reflects how she generally interacts with customers, it falls far below any reasonable standard of customer service. The interaction was so uncomfortable that it caused me to question whether bias played a role in how I was treated.
I genuinely hope management addresses this, because no customer should leave feeling the way I did. Kindness costs nothing, and consistently treating people with contempt eventually defines a person's reputation far more than they realize.
This experience was unacceptable and is the reason I will think twice before returning.
I hope one day you (KRISLYN R.) realize that the way you treat strangers says far more about your CHARACTER, MORALS & VALUES, than it ever does about theirs. I do hope you learn a very hard, yet valuable, lesson one day.
