Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- MMMichael2 days ago1.0This is happening too often in the fast food industry, especially for drive thru customer. The employee deliberately gives the customer something different than what was ordered and then consumes the food themselves (2 "Bobs" and a Taquito were without sausage this time). Happened again at this particular Whataburger drive thru and I'm done with this one for a while. I will check back in 6 months and hopefully NEW management will be in place and this nonsense will stop.

I go here with my pregnancy craving and ask for a side of ranch and I should be able to trust that they can read the receipt and give me the ranch I freaking paid for without having to check the bag!! These employees always want a pay raise just to not even be able to read the receipts and give me my whole order!

I finally got fed up and spoke to a manager, who insisted on leaving a gift card for me and asked me to come in to pick it up so that a manager could ensure good service. When I came in to pick up the card I was treated like they didn't even want my business. Not only will I never come back to this Whataburger I will find out if this owner owns other whataburgers and never go to those.
