I went to the Saltgrass website to place a pickup order, but saw they offered delivery, so I decided to try it. My order was $66, plus an added tip for delivery driver. At 7:04PM, I received a text FROM SALTGRASS saying that my Dasher had picked up my order and that it would arrive by 7:18PM. That was the 1st time I even knew Saltgrass was using DoorDash for the delivery. This was especially confusing because when I checked the DoorDash app, it said Saltgrass was too far away for delivery, which is why I had ordered directly through Saltgrass’s website in the first place. At 7:27PM, my order still hadn’t arrived. Since I didn’t place the order through the DoorDash app, I couldn’t track the driver through the app or see where they were. I had no idea if the driver was lost or if there was an issue with the delivery, so I called Saltgrass. The 1st person who answered listened very briefly and then transferred me. Then Kevin answered. His tone right away came across as annoyed, as though I was already bothering him. I’m generally someone who matches the energy I’m given. I explained why I was calling, and he immediately brushed me off and told me to call DoorDash. I explained that I had ordered directly through Saltgrass’s website and didn’t have a DoorDash order in my app. He essentially told me to find DoorDash’s customer service number online. Then there was an awkward silence… Instead of helping, I was made to feel like it wasn’t their problem because they had handed the order off to DoorDash. Kevin put me on hold and sounded very annoyed that he had to help me find a number to track a $70+ order I had placed through Saltgrass’s website. The order eventually arrived late, and the food was cold.

Went to dinner for my husband’s birthday and we had JT as our server. JT is probably one of the best waiters we have had at any restaurant! He was friendly, knew the menu, attentive, and was not stingy with the pepper🤣 My family would go back and request JT! The food was great too!
