  First time ever coming to this location, got the brisket queso as an app which was amazing! & Got steak and shrimp plate with brussel sprouts. The portions are nice and my steak was cooked perfectly! Came with a group of 10 got us seated quickly. Atmosphere was kinda loud. & had to ask for a few drinks that server forgot but great experience also they have a great kids menu options!

  We came to this restaurant on Father’s Day with my husband and our three children (ages 7, 4, and 1). Even though it was extremely busy, every single server was kind, attentive, and helpful. It didn’t matter who was assisting our table, everyone provided excellent service with a positive attitude. The food was outstanding, and the level of customer service made our experience even better. We truly appreciated how well the staff handled such a crowded day while still making guests feel welcome and cared for. I highly recommend this restaurant 100% for both the quality of the food and the exceptional service. We will definitely be back!

  So good im always craving it. Always tryin to go back. Great food no lack Steak on ATTACK servers dont slack Cooks in the kithchen got ur BACK every meal a winner everytime Thats a FACT

  *** Update - I was able to discuss my experience with their manager, Kevin, who listened to my concerns and convinced me to give them another shot! We revisited on 06/26 and our wait time was supposed to be 40 minutes, but our table was available in 20!! The food was tastier, hotter, and our waiter, George, was on top of everything!! The first time must have been an off night for them because It felt like a different restaurant! Thank you again for the great meal and we’ll definitely visit again!! Ryan Fay I don’t normally leave reviews, but felt the need to take some time out of my busy schedule to leave some feedback for their management team! We arrived and walked to the hostess stand around 4 PM Saturday evening. It’s a little earlier than I typically like to eat, but figured we wouldn’t have a long wait and I could catch the Spurs game later that evening. The hostess asked if we would be okay sitting at a booth, but I asked for a table as a personal preference! As I’m standing there and looking at 6 or 7 empty tables in the main dining room area, I hear the hostess turn and ask if we’d be okay sitting at a table located on their outside patio in mid June in South Texas during the hottest part of the day? I couldn’t believe my ears at the audacity of the question since the patio didn’t have a soul sitting out there when we passed by It walking to the main entrance from the parking lot! Once we were finally seated at one of the 6-7 empty tables in the main dining room, I presented my Landry’s Select Club Card since I’ve been a loyal member since April 2014 and it’s usually a good conversation starter with the waitress! I would like to add that this program has completely changed throughout the years as the manager used to stop by the table and personally thank you for your loyalty, patronage, and business. Now, they look at you like you are some sort of mooch who is only looking for points! The bread was old, the salad was bland, steaks were burnt, Brussel Sprouts were only the leaves and were also burnt, and the potato was hard! I’ve eaten at quite a few Saltgrass restaurants and this was by far the worst one for service and food quality! It would be well worth your time to keep driving to San Marcos where the staff is friendlier and the food is night and day better than NB! The last part of this that really set me over the edge is when I logged in to the app to send feedback to corporate’s eyes only and I see they have my total bill listed at $7.58 when I just got done spending $84 (16 oz Rib Eye, 6 Oz Filet, and 2 beverages) and leaving a $16 tip for this terrible experience! I know restaurants and cooks have off nights, but It angered me to the point to leave some public feedback on Googles forum and I won’t be returning to this location! Sincerely, Ryan Fay

  Hi guys, This was our first time eating at Saltgrass Steak House. Let me tell you something which is the food that I ordered was the one on favorites section which was a steak fry and it was huuuuge. Bigger than my son's head. The steak could be shared amongst 3-4 people I think. I was only able to eat a small portion not even half because I got full by eating the sweet potatoes which was very delicious and their salad as well was absolutely wonderful. I loved how this man approached our table and notified us the food is coming. I also appreciated how our server showed us customer service and treated us very kindly. At the end our waiter brought us to go boxes and even put the food in the to go boxes. I have never seen that in any restaurant that I've gone to.
