  Service is always good. The border steak is by far my favorite. Staff is always friendly and kind. We have yet to have any issues here. Love the indoor and outdoor seating options.

  My family and I were lied to 3 times during our dinner. We walked in, and we're told it was happy hour. We were rudely told by the first waiter that came to our table that it wasn't happy hour that that was only on the weekdays. We told him that the hostesses had told us that it was happy hour until seven, he said. Well they're wrong. This place is not put together at all. We went to order the prime rib special that was sold out. Then, we go ahead and order a sampler. We were told by the waitress. By the way, this is the second one that came to our table. We had two somehow. We were told by the waitress that the sampler was a half rack ribs with queso and some other terribly fried appetizer. We were told a half wreck of ribs would be $30.99 and if we wanted to pay the full $39.99 then we would get a full wrack of ribs. We receive a half rack and still have to pay the $39.99. I will never go to this restaurant again. If you're looking for a place to relax and just be served. This is not it? You're gonna be very disappointed. We as in me and my 4 year old had to step over a wooden tray holder just to walk through the dining room to get to the bathroom that a waiter had dropped and just left there.

  We were in town and happened to stop by Saltgrass Steakhouse after a LONG day at the water park. It was walking distance from our hotel, so we figured, why not? And I’m so glad we did! I honestly don’t go to Saltgrass very often, but this location alone made me want to come back and try more things. From the moment we walked in, the restaurant was super clean, we were greeted right away, and the service was amazing. Our server, Luis, took SUCH good care of us. Seriously, we’ve been to steakhouses that charge top dollar and haven’t received the level of service that he gave us. He was attentive, friendly, and just made the whole experience that much better. And the food was SO good. We had salads with shrimp, and the shrimp was seasoned perfectly. The salads were fresh and delicious, but the potato soup was probably one of my favorite things. It was honestly one of the best potato soups I’ve ever had. The drinks were really good too. I got the sangria mixed with the frozen margarita and it was sooo good, especially after spending the whole day at the water park 😂 Overall, we had such a great experience. This location definitely changed my mind about Saltgrass and made me want to visit again, even when we’re back home in Houston. Great food, great service, and a really nice way to end a long day. And if you get Luis as your server, you’re in good hands!

  Was called up for our table as we stood at the hostess counter. They pointed out the table told us they were cleaning it off and then as we stood, there called another couple up and gave that table to them and we were still having to wait for a table. The manager didn’t seem concerned or cared and said oh I’ll see you now so we ended up walking out and left

  I was pleasantly surprised at how good this restaurant was. Since it is a chain restaurant I didn't want to disappoint myself with any high expectations Man did this place exceed in all areas. Server was super Entrees were cooked perfectly and delivered so fast I was amazed Even the dessert ( carrot cake ) tasted homemade. Kudos to the entire organization! This place knows how to serve the public and I look forward to the next visit !
