- SSSwami121Aug 10, 20261.0Rudy’s BBQ was a pioneer in breakfast tacos. When others were only serving tacos for lunch and dinner, Rudy’s was serving breakfast. Rudy’s set the standard. On Sunday. August 9th, I stopped by Rudy New Braunfels and the breakfast tacos we received from the cutting counter since we needed to custom order with no cheese, was an embarrassment to the tradition of breakfast tacos Rudy’s has set for decades.

- TGTraveling G'sJul 28, 20264.0We have eaten all the other New Braunfels brisket and wanted to see how Rudy’s compares. A half pound of moist and a half pound of lean. Service was friendly and fast. My to go order was ready in just a minute. I loaded up with peppers, pickles, onions and paper towels and headed for Landa Park. The brisket had a nice taste…some of the lean had a lot of the peppery edge. Both could have used a little more time in the heat…they were a little rubbery with a bit too much tug. Priced just a little less than the others in the area…Rudy’s is a good choice but my most recent brisket wasn’t as good as the competition.
