- VGVictor Garcia1 day ago1.0HEB advertises, if you buy shrimp at the store they will steam it for you. The past 3 months my wife and I have attempted buying shrimp there to have it steamed and every time it’s the same answer steamer is broken. My wife and I love steamed shrimp, and have attempted buying at other locations in San Marcos as well, and that seems to be a common occurrence. I could only imagine these stores lose out in a lot of sales just because employees don’t want to clean the steamer towards the end of their shift. Big food chain McDonalds had a similar issue to this where they had a common trend to say their ice cream machines were not working. People expect to travel to a location to receive an item that is advertised, or a menu item which the store is expected to have. I don’t believe their steamers are actually down, and if for a chance they are, why have they been down for 3 months? I ask that you ensure steamers are good to go at this location, and other nearby locations. I know HEB is all about quality for customers and I ask that you prove it and follow up. Thank you.

Used to be pricey but doable at $15.99/lb but $20.99/lb is not going to happen for us! We typically spend $500/month at HEB on beef but it looks like we’ll be shopping at COSTCO for now!
- SES. E.Sep 29, 20262.0I had high hopes for a hot Texas barbecue from the stand and I was sadly very disappointed. The brisket sandwich was very salty, the bread cold, not even slightly warmed up. The ribs were also not warmed. All the smoked meats tasted mostly just like pepper. The sides and tea were good. I expected more from HEB.

- BPBeth PetersonSep 18, 20265.0I shop at this New Braunfels location often. Today was a great experience! Eugenia from the bakery is phenomenal! She saw me looking for fresh tortillas (there were hardly any) and explained that the tortilla machine had broken a few days prior. She suggested I try the fresh heb tortillas in the cold section. She then told me several different yummy sounding recipes that she makes for her family. We loved the tortillas for our tacos and cant wait to try her dessert ideas. Eugenia from the bakery is an asset to your company and a wonderfully sweet lady!
