  I was sold expired merchandise. I drank it and now I’m sick. I returned to the store to speak to a manager. No manager came after waiting 10 min. The customer associate said, ‘sorry about that’. Don’t trust this location. Bad management that allows expired food on the floor.

  They are still my number one place to grocery shop, get meds, and essentials. The only issue is everyone loves them so pharmacy, restaurant, and isles can get crowed during peak hours. Like before 8am,12pm, and after school starting around 3 to 6pm but nothing beats my heb they do there best and its never messy

  I love this store but wish they had better produce. Often things go overripe before they should and I do know how to properly store it. Onions separate from potatoes. Refrigerator items wrapped in paper towels etc. it seems like every time I shop here I get a little frustrated over seeing so many items in produce over ripe to the point of spoiled before you purchase. I do love that they carry a wide variety of brand items but I buy organic and non GMO maltodextrin free so wish they'd carry more of these. Since we have a Sprouts market in town now I will be checking their selection out.

  I don't like going through the lines, I bring my own bags every time. I'm very big on people not touching my things, I can be anxious while shopping alone, as I have PTSD as a veteran & Autism. I go through the self checkout every time, because I don't like dealing with people due to my anxiety & stimming issues when shopping alone without my spouse. I was told by Amber today that I had to bring my items, which were over 10 items to the regular checkout. Bryant was kind enough to get me a cart, because I thought I was going to have to go through a checkout lane. When I explained to Bryant about my Autistic issues, he told me he'd let me checkout today through the self-checkout lane & he waited for me. I carry my bags with me everywhere & the fact that he stopped to help me before I had go to another lane really helped my anxiety. I'm not like normal people, I don't socialize well & it's hard for me to do things on my own sometimes even as an adult due to my condition. So thank you Bryant, even if it felt like an inconvenience to you or Amber for me to use the self-checkout lane, allowing me to use the lane today really helped me more than you can imagine. Especially when I've been hit on by random strangers while shopping alone in the store or approached by random people with them trying to sell stuff to me in the parking lot. I get overwhelmed coming to HEB, which is why I feel the need to use the self-checkout lane.

  I have been a regular customer getting all of my groceries from that store. I experienced a hit and run that likely happened at their parking lot. I called the store and asked them to review the cameras to confirm if it actually happened at their parking lot. The manager Serena Riedel told me that HEB would not do that unless I had a police report. I told her that I would report to the police after confirming that it happened at their parking lot and did not want to know any sensitive information from that video footage. She still refused. I told her that another HEB branch reviewed their cameras to check for the hit and run. Even Costco and Walmart did that for me. Yet she still refused having their cameras checked saying that would be their policy. I asked her to show me where this policy would be written and she could not! I will not shop there again and hope that corporate takes care of this unacceptable behavior. I would expect more professionalism from a store leader. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Edited addressing the response to this review: I would like corporate to follow up on this and get in touch with me. I also would like the store manager at that location to be reported to corporate for her unprofessional behavior.
