  Love HEB! I wish this store particularly was bigger; however it does carry all the essentials one needs. Staff is so pleasant and helpful!

  Always has what I'm looking for. Neat and organized. Employees are super helpful for the most part and the cashiers are friendly and supportive when I have my little ones with me.

  I usually have absolutely nothing but positive things to say about anything HEB. However, my shopping experience today was far from satisfactory. I asked for an item and they gave me the wrong product. As soon as I walked out, I realized that it was the wrong item, same brand, but wrong flavor. I asked them if they could exchange it for the flavor I requested and they said I could come back tomorrow at 6am to exchange it, because it had just turned 11pm as I exited. Manager proceeded telling me that it was past hours, and that everyone was clocked out so they could not do returns despite the fact that I was not doing a return. All I was doing was simply asking for them to exchange the item to the proposer flavor that I originally requested. The item was the exact same price. The only difference was flavors. So she made a big stink about it being after hours. I was extremely polite. Very simple request, can you please exchange this item to the flavor that I asked for and that would be that. But I am given a very firm no and I told that I can come back in the morning. I am a loyal HEB customer, I had literally just walked out of the door. This occurred in less than a minute to maybe a minute and a half tops from when I walked outside and came back in came back in asking if they could just take my item and give me the item in the flavor I originally asked for. That is just absolutely ridiculous. “Nope, sorry, it’s after hours. You can come back tomorrow morning to return the item and then buy the item you requested”. The manager is seriously lacking and moral principle. It’s very difficult not to see that as a deliberate act. I don’t know, maybe she didn’t appreciate the fact that I appeared to be a chipper good mood. Thank you for crashing that good mood by deliberately and unnecessarily, denying my request to exchange my item for the proper item that I asked for. They were both the same exact price just different flavor. It would not have been hard to just exchange it for the proper flavor that I asked for flavor that I requested to begin in. I guess that is her way of a certain middle school amount of power that she has. She must be absolutely delightful work for. Thank you for crashing my mood. i’ll be sure to catch her name to update my post so the future H-E-B customers know to avoid this woman, because she is not going to help you by the looks of it go out of her way to make your life more difficult. For all those H-E-B employees gonna have to answer to this person, I am sincerely sorry. For management, they want to avoid people of authority in the future, forsake of HEB and all of those that work there. It is very unfortunate that I have to leave this bad review, but I really I feel that it is important for the people that shop Unnecessary attitude when I was being as polite and cordial that could be. She immediately and firmly dismissed me, turned and walked away. Not the least bit interested in assisting me. All she had to do was take my item and hand me the item of the proper flavor and that would’ve been that. There was no need for the dismissive condescending attitude. The whole ordeal could have lasted less than a minute. People like that mistake kindness for weakness. I really hate having to leave reviews like this, but that kind of behavior needs to cease
