No one explained that the menu prices, were not combo prices and that some items, weren’t even offered as combos. The person taking our order, wouldn’t even take the time to answer our questions while we were ordering. Definitely a one and done.. Money horribly wasted.

We got some burgers to-go, brought them straight to our car, then went straight home, and as we grabbed the brown bag from the car and were about to enter our home, the burgers fell through the bottom of the bag and onto the garage floor. We called, and they agreed to prepare new burgers, but they were not apologetic and seemed defensive. I asked if we could get the replacement burgers and a refund, for the inconvenience of driving all the way home and having to drive all the way back because of their mistake. The manager passive aggressively said "well I'm not going to refund the burgers if I am making you new ones." I said it wasn't my fault that they messed up and he cut me off "I never said it was your fault but I can give you fries for the inconvenience" in a very curt and defensive manner. He agreed to throw in some fries for the inconvenience....woopdy do, something we didn't purchase in the first place because we didn't really want them, but if that was the only offer for the inconvenience, ok. If that is Five Guys's policy, that's fine, but the manager should communicate that more respectfully when it was his store that messed up. "Sorry sir, unfortunately we cannot do that but I can offer you free fries for the inconvenience. Again, we apologize." I get their burgers are greasy, but they should have properly wrapped the burgers in tinfoil so they weren't leaking oil into the bag AND/OR double-bagged. And this is New Braunfels; there are an abundance of local burger spots where you can get friendly customer service plus a good burger.

The only products we offer that contain gluten are our buns, hot dogs (Canada only), HP sauce (UK only), and the malt vinegar condiment for our fries. Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.
What is the best way to reheat leftover fries?
Leftover fries are excellent reheated in the oven (or Air Fryer). According to Chad Murrell, one of the Five Guys, just pop them in a 350-degree oven for about 10-15 minutes.
Also, give those leftover fries a try as hash browns, home fries, or even as the filling in an omelet.
