The staff is usually very welcoming, and I appreciate how friendly the cashiers are when you first walk in. However, during my recent visit, I witnessed something that left a very bad impression. The owner (I believe her name is JINI) was yelling at one of the cashiers in front of customers in the lobby. I found this extremely unprofessional, disrespectful, and completely inappropriate. No employee deserves to be spoken to in that manner, especially in front of customers. I was there with several of my coworkers, and everyone in the lobby was visibly uncomfortable and disappointed by what we witnessed. It created an unpleasant atmosphere and took away from what is usually a positive experience. Unfortunately, because of this incident, I do not think I will be returning to Kolache Factory. The food may be great, but customer experience includes how employees are treated. Seeing an owner behave in such a rude and disrespectful way toward a cashier was disappointing and unacceptable. You have lost a customer because of the lack of professionalism and respect shown that day. I sincerely hope management reflects on how employees are treated, because no one deserves to be humiliated in front of customers.
