Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
This is one of the slowest Whataburgers I have ever visited. What is the point of allowing customers to order on the app and pick up curbside. To have them sit outside for 15-20 minutes. This is suppose to be fast food.
Make sure you check your bag because 9/10 your food will be made wrong and you will be missing items.
Do better.

I’ve always had a great time at this place, but tonight was a complete letdown. I was paying for my food and holding out my phone to scan my app when the lady at the window rolled her eyes. Even after I finally paired my phone, she rolled her eyes again and shoved the food in my hand. I understand it’s busy, but it seems like someone else should have been on duty tonight.
Edit: Just got home and I’m missing my fries very disappointing.

This morning I had to go to work early so I stopped by this Whataburger at 3:30am and I was greeted with a very friendly voice despite the early hour and the food and coffee were fresh. Very good experience. If I remember correctly the employees name was Stephanie. Thank you!

Zero attention to detail. I walked in. No one else at the counter. Cashier was quick and friendly. However, no one else came in and I took a seat to the side of the registers with my number easily visible. Only person. Time passes and the lady that took my order notices the workers just standing there like they have no orders to work on while I’m still waiting. They say they don’t have any orders. They made and gave mine out? To who? She says someone who had an online order with something else completely different than what I ordered. So there’s more unhappy customers. So she asks me for my receipt so they can remake. I wait more. The person then gives it to me and walks away. Without fries. This was a number one meal. Med fries. That’s it. Still couldn’t double check and get it right. So I have to go up there and say well now she gave it to me with no fries. So I wait she gives me fries. Barely any in there and cold. And I get in the car and check, the meat on the burger is actually cold. What is going on here?

Most inconsistent fast food spot in TX. Repeated cold food. Repeated long waits. I used to be a chef and was in hospitality for 17 years professionally and let me tell you, this place literally sucks. Wilted soggy green leaf lettuce everytime. Huge chunks of iceberg on burgers. Cold half full fries. Ripped burger patties and buns. Ridiculous amounts of condiments on sandwiches. I grew up on Whataburger in Louisiana in the 90s, it was amazing. Now, I cant believe this location is open. If it werent the only thing open in Montgomery after 10p they would close. Night cooks are absolute clowns. Im 45 and could cook circles around them. I literally drive 25 mins out of my way to Culvers everytime I want a burger. Fresh, courteous, FAST, and correct everytime. FOR LESS MONEY! Unfortunately, I think this location is circling the drain. Maybe the entire company. Whatajoke. But the spicy ketchup is good.
