    I visited this SONIC location around 5:10 pm yesterday and had an unpleasant experience with one of the employees. I was surprised to be told that I should go somewhere else for food. There was no reason for me to leave and order elsewhere when I came to this location as a customer. If taking order is a problem, then perhaps the employee should consider a different job rather than telling customers to take their business elsewhere. This was one of the most unprofessional customer service experiences I’ve had. Because of how uncomfortable the situation became, I ended up throwing the drink away instead of drinking it. Details: I waited at the drive-thru after placing my order because the employee suddenly stopped responding. She initially heard me and said she couldn’t hear me, so I repeated my order. After that, she stopped responding completely. When I arrived at the window, I asked the male employee why my order was not taken. His response was, “I don’t know. I’m not her. If you’re not happy, you can just go somewhere else.” He then closed the window and left me waiting for a while before coming back. After he gave me my drink, I paid with cash because the drive-thru did not accept credit card payment. He then closed the window again before giving me a receipt or my change.

    Comments, questions, or concerns? I have plenty to say about a recent experience my husband had at this Sienna location where he went to pick up dinner for us both. My husband & I have not been to a sonic, & to this Sienna location in months. This location has been our go to location for a few years now since the location nearby us doesn’t seem to be taken care of & it often appears to have grafitti on the building in random places, broken parts hanging off of the menus, or pieces of the menus missing like they were punched out when we drive by it & looking at the overall location & the parking spots from the road at night, the building also has burnt out lightbulbs, so it isn’t well lit, & that doesn’t give either of us a very safe feeling. He calls it the ghetto sonic, & so we go to this other much nicer Sienna location. So, my husband said he went thru the drive thru to order dinner for us, & after his experience he had there, well he don’t know if the pakistani guy that he said that took his order had pushed the wrong button on the register or not, but he told me that he thinks maybe this guy was upselling & maybe they have been told that they’re not getting a lot of business there, so he rang up the order & charged him individually for an item that should’ve been included in a combo meal. So what happened was, my husband said he had ordered me a plain cheeseburger combo, a grape slushy with nerds candy, & large mozzarella sticks, & he had asked for both marinara dip & ranch dip. Then he ordered himself a cherry slushy with nerds, a large tater tots with chili & cheese & added bacon & jalapeno to it. My meal should include the groovy fries, but on the receipt it shows a charge for 1 med groovy fries for $3.19 at the bottom of the list of items on the receipt. When my husband got home with our food & he was taking the food out of the bags, he said his ranch wasn’t in the bag. & I had said, oh, is it on the receipt? Then he had handed me the receipt & while I was looking over it, he said its on there, & it looks like they don’t charge extra for the dips, but look what they did charge me extra for. They charged me for the fries, & those are suppose to come with your meal I believe. This is a combo meal, & the way that this employee rang up this order with the fries as being a seperate charge like that, then we should’ve gotten an additional med fry in our bag, but I didn’t order one. Then he also said he had to read his order back to the guy twice, & he had asked for the ranch dip when he placed his order, & he had asked for it twice when he repeated his order to the guy twice. & when the guy told him the total of his order, he said he wondered why it sounded like it was a little more than he remembers, but he didn’t think anything of it because of the cost of everything having gone up. After he got to the window & paid, he said that he did look at the receipt before he picked up his order & then he noticed the fries on it, but he just left because of the entire ordering experience. He said that he had noticed on the receipt that the ranch dip was on there too, but he didn’t check inside the bags for it, & he said, well, that is my bad I guess. & so yeah, he had noticed the seperate charge for the fries, but he said that he is a non confrontational person, & he didn’t want to argue with the guy, & that he was hungry, & he just wanted to get the heck out of there, & that a few extra dollars wasn’t worth it. But I wanted to get on here & blast this experience he had at this location, because who knows if they have been doing this & if they will continue to do this to other customers too? That is, if this wasn’t an accident. Everyone needs to check their bags & their receipts before leaving this location. I’d like to find out if this was a one time incident he had, or if this is recently been or it has been happening at that location. I will be holding on to the receipt as proof of this experience, & in case this situation goes any further, I’ll have the proof on hand to provide a picture of the receipt if needed.

    I’m not sure why I was given a completely melted shake, but that’s disgusting. If you saw the ice cream coming out of the machine incorrectly then you all could have just said that…. instead of giving me a melted shake and then topping it with whipped cream hoping I wouldn’t notice…or offer an alternative… Let’s practice not giving people food that we wouldn’t eat ourselves….it wasn’t even cold. Yall should be ashamed…

    Went to sonic with my boyfriend and his mom, we ordered 3 blasts. We came home and were about to eat when I noticed a sour smell coming from my blast, the texture also seemed off as the ice cream seemed thin/melty. My boyfriend and his mom said the same thing with theirs. I tried calling the Sonic to alert them that their ice cream is bad but no answer. Upon google searching, Sonic occasionally has sour tasting ice cream because of improper and infrequent cleaning of their ice cream machines, and using old/expired products. Not sure which is the case here but pretty gross.
