  Yesterday, I visited the store to purchase two small cakes for my baking class. I had a question regarding the pricing of the cakes and approached Frank, one of your supervisors, for assistance. He was exceptionally helpful in addressing my inquiry. His professionalism and demeanor were exemplary. I consistently enjoy my shopping experiences at HEB. Your organization consistently employs outstanding individuals who consistently exceed customer expectations. Frank is certainly one of those distinguished employees.

  I was bluntly racially discriminated, needing to go to the restroom I went to customer service thinking the restroom was there after finding out it wasn’t, I willing walked up to a ask a floor supervisor named Norbert. where the restrooms where, it was unannounced to me after asking that question I would continuously be followed around at the time I had $1200 cash that I was about to use to pay bills so I was planning on using Apple Pay to pay for my groceries, I went to the restaurant in the store to buy a lemonade and that’s how I found out my phone was dead after finding that out I willing put back the 3 bags of dog food I planned on buying because I did not want to spend the cash I had. After buying the soap and razors which cost me under 20 I proceeded to walk out it was then I was ambushed by Robert and Norbert at the accusing me of trying to steal, it was only then I found out they following me around the store. There reasoning? Purely because I asked the manger Norbert for directions to the restroom he said me being behind the register when I asked raised his guard when the restrooms themselves were behind the register. What Norbert could’ve asked of me like a manager would was to keep my cart behind the register and I would’ve understood, instead what he did was have people follow me around then wrongfully accuse me of stealing after I paid for my items. Robert and Norbert cornered me at the door accused me of stealing and threatened the camera’s after it was proved I I paid for my items. Norbert tried to twist the story up saying he saw me and that’s why I asked about the restroom, when in fact I went up to him to nicely ask him where the restrooms were, they also said that I was trying to be sneaky when I bought a gallon of lemonade at the flamin bird restaurant, when I have to buy it there, every reason they had did not make and Norbert was stuttering and loss for words when I called him out on his claims, this was purely because of my skin color. If the situation was anyone else asking for restroom directions norbert wouldn’t have batted an eye, in fact he didn’t bat an eye when there was two Mexican ladies who did the exact same thing as me with there shopping carts next to the restroom too, why didn’t they get followed? Why did no one stop them and accuse them of stealing? This was a terrible experience which is unfortunate because this was my favorite HEB
