  This is one of the better heb's! It's really big and has pretty much everything you would need food wise .

  HEB is great. They have live crawfish for sale late Spring, have snow crab year round and now have Superior Rice from Crowley Louisiana. Superior rice is a healthy non gmo, gluten free and low glycemic rice healthy for diabetics. My favorite in Houston and RGV.

  I am so annoyed and disappointed with this H-E-B. I placed a curbside order around 3:00 PM for a 7:30 PM pickup. A thunderstorm started around 5:00 PM with strong winds and lightning. By around 8:00 PM, the weather had calmed down, so I decided to head to H-E-B around 8:25 PM. I checked in for curbside at around 8:40 PM, and by 9:15 PM I still hadn't received my order. I called the store, and they told me they were not allowed to provide curbside service because of the lightning. I completely understand putting employee safety first, but the lack of communication was rude. The entire curbside area was full, and none of us received any notification that curbside service had been suspended or delayed because of the weather. When I called, they told me I could come to the curbside entrance to get my order at the curbside door, but when I drove by, I saw a line of customers standing outside in the rain waiting for their orders. Seriously? They had since 5:00 PM to notify customers that curbside service would be delayed or unavailable due to the storm, but they never did. If I had known I was going to drive 15 minutes, wait over 35 minutes, and leave without my groceries, I would have stayed home instead of wasting my time and gas. A simple text, email, or app notification would have been appreciated.

  Was looking for no stars but failed in my attempt; every year for back to school we help out students with supplies and had bought some at our usual spot but then decided to buy some more here to increase the give-away; went online and ordered few items and checked out; this, a delivery order, was called by courier who told me one of the items was quantity NS so spoke with courier who was to ask manager if he would allow a price match on a different item and of course the answer was nay; following this, with some credit still remaining, requested for the courier to purchase 2x items within the budget and of course, again, the answer was nay- credit the card and case closed. So management at this location shines again with negativity and denying requests which basically are purchases to give out to the community which supposedly they cry out that they themselves give out too much to. Sad...

  I’ve been using the curbside service for years, and today for the first time ever I felt compelled to leave a 5-star review because, for the first time ever, HEB curbside partner Alex asked me about my day and made small conversation with me. He was super enthusiastic, happy, and had such great energy overall at 8 pm, when most of us are just counting down until it’s time to go home. It reminded me how much a few moments of genuine kindness can impact someone’s day. I left feeling inspired to bring that same level of positivity and connection to the customers I interact with at my own job. Alex is a great reminder that outstanding customer service isn’t just about doing the task.. It’s about making people feel seen and valued. Thank you, Alex!
