  BE AWARE OF THE PRICES ON PRODUCE ITEMS!!!! The girls at the registers don’t know what some of the items are and will charge you what ever they want under “produce item”. My grandma doesn’t speak much English and was being charged $4.99 ea for a small turmeric piece because both girls didn’t know what it was, mind you that wasn’t the only item they didn’t know ( girl bagging gave the girl scanning a random code) , at the time we just told the cashier to remove it but once I went on their website, the turmeric was listed for $1.60. Shouldn’t be putting people at the register who aren’t properly trained yet, wouldn’t be surprised how many people might have been overcharge for something just because they don’t know what it is, store is already overpriced for this economy. Do better.

  Hey Tom Thumb, you have a problem with kids riding their dirt bikes in the parking lot. Been open for 2 weeks and it’s a major problem. Someone is going to get ran over. Fix it.

  So I went to the new store here on 1387 today and I noticed a couple of things. First, their 2% milk all expires in 2 days. Then, when I asked the checker if there was any senior discount days or military discounts, her answer was “no” like I was bothering her or something. I did compare prices on a few items and they are very similar to Brookshires, where I normally shop. So I am not so sure I will be switching over to this store or not, as it is closer to home, but that’s about the only reason why.

  Very nice to have a store that is close by and has a great selection of items. The Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and helpful I would definitely be back. Thanks to Mrs. Darolyn for making our experience so welcoming.

  I just love having my shopping experience ruined when I was so excited to go here. The fact that a manager had a kid worker follow us around the store for whatever reason, literally isle to isle our whole visit is beyond me. I am over 30 years old. Was in there yesterday doing the same shopping and browsing but yet for some reason today is an issue. Why it took 3 people handing it off to each other to fill on little tub of broccoli salad while standing there is ridiculous. The check out lady not knowing how to find baked goods and asking us the prove and getting annoyed at a coupon being put in incorrectly when I pointed it should not be happening. The thing that really took me was the fact that the bagger put my FOOD IN MY BAG and then PUT IT ON THE GROUND for ME TO PICK UP!!!! FDA Food Code 3-305.11 states all food must be stored 6in above the ground at all times. Literally everywhere that sells food. So in who’s right mind is it okay to put the FOOD ON THE LITERAL GROUND AFTER ITS SCANNED!!!! If I could leave no stars I would. So disgusting and disappointing after a great visit yesterday. Will not be back. Will tell others not to come here. Such excitement and high hopes completely ruined.
