    Came for lunch, paid for brisket and almost all was huge chunks of fat, not edible. This restaurant passes its trash to its customers

    I have had BBQ all over the world. But this is the ONLY place I will drive for hours just to get some of that amazing brisket. And the ribs are top notch as well.

    I’m from Canada and I come here every chance I can. Beverly helped me today and just a lovely lady. This will always be my number one stop food.

    Underwhelming to say the least. Cafeteria style dining. You choose a meat, typically 1/2 lb for $9, sides are prepackaged in styrofoam, you can get a quart, pint or single. There are no warm sides everything was refrigerated I.e potato salad, coleslaw etc … They throw all the food into an old recycled plastic soda crate on pieces of parchment paper. Everyone eats out of it like a trough. No plates are given, just plastic forks. So if you were to go with a family and you get a quart of potato salad I guess you all just eat out of the container?? Not impressed at all. The food was mediocre, I didn’t eat anything and think “wow that’s fantastic” just more like wtf… . The staff was polite. I’ll not be going again.

    8/9/2026 Ordered thru Uber eats brisket, brisket beans, potato salad, $40 meal cornbread, was burnt. Everything else was good. Manager needs to be written up along with the staff member that allowed this mess to leave the store. Shows how careless and not consistent in sending meals to customers. Needs training.
