Always clean and staff is friendly. The only reason for 4v stars is the store layout is confusing and hard to navigate.

This store offers not only an amble amount of savings and great deals but also a feeling of buying home grown locàl everything from. The meat counter where Zachary will give you an amazing cut of ribeye or offer you some scallops that paired up with the most sweet wine sold by a Lubbock Texas winery that Jill was giving samples of. The deli offers the richest boars head meats that Amy will cut and slice to your liking with a smile on her face the whole time. Dawt the cashier will promptly scan you items and Jordan will bag your food with care. These employees love there job. The history of how HEB started in the early 1901 as a mom and pop shop has continued through history even though they have expanded into the huge market it is today. GOOD JOB HEB!!!

I am an elderly person, a creature of habit and I shop here always. I usually bring my own shopping boxes and go through the self checkout. Today, I forgot my boxes and had to go through the 25 or less checkout where the cashier was bagging for me. Before I left and standing nearby I checked my groceries against my receipt and noticed that 2 bags of hash browns were missing, keep in mind I never stepped outside the door. When I asked her about my missing groceries she pointed to my basket and told me that everything I bought was bagged and in my cart. She then angrily said that "we have cameras" so I said ok, bring them up to see if she handed my bag to the other customer she was bagging for. She responded with " if you want your potatoes, you will have to go get them yourself", I told her that it was her mistake and she needed to send someone to get them for me. I asked for a manager and showed him my potatoless cart and showed him my receipt. When he approached me all she had to say was, she wants someone to get them for her! I almost applauded her ability to deflect. I was shocked! I've never had this happen probably because I rarely shop alone, my husband boxes while I scan. I will never return to this store again, the manager was nonchalant about her behavior, I almost felt like they were suspicious that two bags of potatoes were in my very small pockets or crammed in my small purse sitting wide open in the cart. Don't they care that older people on a fixed budget are humiliated on the word of inept employees? Store employees steal from customers, not the other way around! Never again!
