Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- AAAmandaSep 29, 20261.0After 6pm, any managers and employees at this location don’t seem to care for customer service and wait times. I’ve been to this location several times in the morning/lunch and they never disappoint. However the past 2 times I went after 6, it’s terrible. I placed an online order and because I know their curbside takes forever, they only had ONE car in the drive thru so I decided to see if they could just give it to me through there. I was told to go wait in curbside spot #2. I drove and parked and checked in and waiting about 10 minutes before I started calling the restaurant. 2 calls through and nobody answered. All while we are watching 3 cars that came one after the other parked AFTER us and they brought them their food. At this point it’s been 15 minutes so then I had to go along the drive thru AGAIN to tell them they made me do curbside and wait forever nothing because they never brought my food out. The little girl at the window rolled her eyes at me and started speaking to someone through her headset. Just for them to say OH they have it at the second window. I’ve worked in food industry and know they prioritize the drive thru, hence why they could’ve just given it to me in the first place rather than making me go wait. they need to get it together.
