Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

The staff at this location makes sure to greet me with a kind smile and take the extra step of asking how my day is. When ordering, they recommend some popular items ordered and promote new items that might be of interest to me. As they take my order, they take the time to ask if I’d like any modifications, and they make it happen. Overall, the time from arriving to receiving my food has decreased with my order having come out perfectly. I would highly recommend this location to anyone passing by or in the area! They’ve had some success improving their customer service and satisfaction.

Over the past several months, I've noticed a huge improvement in both the food and the overall experience. The restaurant is cleaner, the staff seems more organized, and orders have been coming out much more accurately and consistently. The biggest difference is that the team appears to genuinely care about customer service now. Employees are friendly, acknowledge customers, and work efficiently, even during busy times. The food has also been fresh and prepared correctly on my recent visits, which wasn't always the case in the past. It's obvious that there has been a positive change in leadership. Whatever the new manager is doing, it's making a difference. As a returning customer, I appreciate seeing the effort that's been put into improving this location. Keep up the good work—it definitely hasn't gone unnoticed.
