Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Ordered on the app tonight, said it would be 5-7 minutes and be ready at 9:07. Sat at the curbside until 9:25. Finally went in, one worker on his cell phone sitting in a booth, 2 others talking about going to a party that night. Asked for my food, it was randomly sitting on a counter, looks like it’s been ready for a while. No sorry or anything. Food was lukewarm, and unfortunately this happens often at this location. Would have been better off just eating a sandwich at home.

We were forgotten for over 20 minutes past the estimate the app gave us for pickup, again I dont care about waiting as long as the food is hot. Somebody was running food to other cars and including ones that came after we did and didn't even glance our direction. Someone asked if we had a different person's order and then we explained we had been waiting. He ran us our food and it was freezing by time it got to us. Just disappointing when you spend almost 30 on two meals as a treat and it's cold and takes forever on top of it. Especially in this economy.

Every experience was terrible, food was cold, I was always missing something, the attitude of the employees was awful. Tonight, I decided to give it another try since I saw the stars being better than other whataburgers. Cort, the manager, helped me out today and let me tell you all that the experience was phenomenal. Quick with everything, food was hot and tasty. He made sure I had everything. Cort has done an excellent job turning the place around!
