She’s always upbeat and treats diners like friends. That means a lot, especially when so many places act as if they hate their jobs and aren’t too fond of you, either.

- RSRebecca SanchezSep 17, 20261.0Almost every time we get food from the McKinney Tru Blu BBQ at the HEB restaurant drive thru, they forget parts of our order! Particularly meat items!! It’s hard for me to check the order before leaving the drive thru when they pile everything in a huge bag and don’t bother to go over the order with you when giving it to you and there’s cars waiting behind you. We are VERY disappointed in this BBQ restaurant and the management as well!! I have complained multiple times but it keeps happening. Also, they refuse to reimburse you for food that you paid for but did not received over the phone. Apparently they are ok with people having to drive back to their restaurant and beg for the food you already paid for!! Beware of this place!!!! Food is also cold and the “lean” brisket is 1/2 fat! The brisket beans are mostly chunks for fat and broth with very little beans or brisket.
