Haven’t eaten here in years as the prices to go out to eat anymore are absurd, but I digress as that is not why I am leaving this review. Stopped by here tonight to pick up a to go meal for my family. My wife and I split the blackened redfish. My daughter ordered ribs with fries. My wife and I were so disappointed in the seafood dish, the fish tasted dry like it had been cooked several hours before and was just sitting in the kitchen waiting for someone to order it. The baked potato was cold and tasted like it was left over from dinner service last night. I am beginning to think many have just come to the point of accepting this from restaurants now days. Saltgrass your food used to be much better, might want to re-evaluate what you’re serving your customers and try to make it right.

We love McKinney Salt Grass! Danielle and the entire staff are exceptional. We drive 45 minutes each week to enjoy a great meal. Danielle always visits our table and has become like family to us. Thanks, Salt Grass, for great food and service!

This is my 88 yrs young Mother’s favorite place to go for lunch. We share a NY Strip or T-bone almost every week! The food and service are consistently superb + they welcome us like family!
Medium new york steak came out with only the lightest of pink left, so a bit overcooked. Service was attentive and of course they asked about it, but I'm not sending a meal back to wait another 10-15 minutes while the rest of my party eats, as many others will not. Get it right, this is your speciality.

We were visiting from California and stopped in. Brandon, our server, was so nice and amazing. He kept our drinks refilled, our food came out fast, and it was a great experience. We also met Danielle, and she was so awesome. She greeted us with a smile, was so polite, provided suggestions on the area, and had a great convo about California. They made the visit memorable and exceptional.
