I am writing to formally report an appalling customer service experience at your McKinney location on August 30, 2026, which involved blatant hostility, disrespect, and unprofessional conduct from the manager on duty. The drive-thru staff completely bungled my original order. When I asked for a simple resolution, the manager treated me with immediate attitude and hostility simply because I requested a refund (processed at 3:49 PM, KS#15). Because my young daughter still wanted her Happy Meal, we parked and walked inside to order it separately. Seeing us walk in only seemed to agitate the manager further; he glared at us with visible contempt. While the frontline cashier was incredibly kind and attempted to smooth over the situation by offering my daughter two small toys to make up for the ordeal, the manager immediately berated and yelled at his own employee right in front of us, demanding that my daughter pay for them. Humiliated and frustrated by his aggression, I handed the extra toy back just to de-escalate the hostile environment he created. It is entirely unacceptable for a manager to treat paying customers like an inconvenience and publicly discipline staff for showing basic human decency. I expect corporate management to address this manager's hostile behavior and lack of professionalism immediately. This is not how any customer—especially one with a young child—should ever be treated.

If you are going to have two lanes then make sure lanes are covered and someone isn’t taking a shit, talking on their phone, or working the front counter. It sucks to drive up and watch multiple cars go through before getting your order taken and then have to watch the people you were in front of get their order and drive off while you get shoved to the last window so you can wait. Not the first time.

I was really looking forward to having a Hot ’N Spicy McChicken and some freshly made French fries, but unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience. The chicken patty was severely overcooked and extremely dry. It was so dry that it was difficult to swallow, and it was nothing like the juicy, enjoyable McChicken I was expecting. The fries were also clearly fried for too long — they were overly hard and dry instead of being fresh, crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside. I specifically ordered McDonald’s because I was looking forward to enjoying a freshly made meal, but the food quality completely ruined the experience and left me very disappointed. I hope the restaurant can pay more attention to cooking times and food quality. Customers should be able to expect food that is fresh, properly cooked, and enjoyable — especially when ordering something as simple as a McChicken and fries.

8/23/26 at 11:10am waited 10 minutes in the outside drive through lane. Inside lane had 2 cars get their order taken. As the 3rd car pulled up they got to order their food immediately. At that point the kids, wife, and myself are frustrated and just left. Check the cameras and reply if I’m giving false information. If a generic automated response is given then that shows the actual attention management is giving. I’ll add my dash camera time stamps if needed.

I brought a 2 Large Fries along with large coke. Then i asked for an empty cup for water which i used for sharing my large coke with my dad and then my 3 year old kid asked for water so went to ask for a cup of water again. Person at the counter was rude and Arrogant as if I was stealing coke from his store and accused me of stealing come for 2 cups. I did not knew that cup of water also was chargeable then I realised on my own and paid for the 2 cups I ordered. My whole point is instead of falsely accusing me of stealing he could have told me it would have charged. This my Worst customer experience at this location.
