It was my first time here and I had a really great experience. The customer service was excellent, the food was fresh and flavorful, and the owner was very welcoming and nice. I tried the suya with fried plantain and it was absolutely delicious. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I think I may have found my favorite Nigerian restaurant in DFW! The flavor profiles were hitting and the vibe is unmatched. Everything we tried was SO delicious! The suya was very tender and the Jollof reminded me of Lagos. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Absolutely delicious food and you won’t leave hungry. I’m legitimately shocked by the flavors of absolutely everything I ate, from the ox tails to the appetizers to even the sides. Bring friends so you can try everything… or do like I did, and order multiple dishes so you have plenty to take home. I tried three different proteins. The ox tails are the best I’ve ever had! Perfectly cooked and the savory sauce balances the fatty oxtail for something that you’d expect more from a high-end, fine dining restaurant. The jerk chicken has a great dry rub, but the Jamaican sauce served on the side adds an extra spice and sweetness that was so so good. The curry chicken falls off the bone and really has a great, completely different flavor that offsets and balances the others. The sides all deserve recognition; there wasn’t a dud of the bunch. The jollof rice was unlike anything I’ve had before, with a healthy heat to it. The rice and peas was milder and reminded me of an elevated beans and rice. The spinach melts in your mouth and offers a buttery complement to the spice of the other sides. The cabbage has great texture and flavor, with a slightly sharp tang that really just creates a well rounded collection of flavors. The appetizers are also each fantastic. I could eat my weight in their fried plantains. The puff puff is similar to a large, round donut, but less sweet and a little doughier. The Nigerian meat pie is like a gourmet version of a comfort food, flakey and filled with tasty spiced meat. Everything here was fantastic with a twist on both Jamaican food and West African dishes, taking the best of both and creating something you really just have to try to understand how good it really is. A unique dining experience you won’t soon forget.

My sister and I visited for her birthday. It was my first time ever eating goat, oxtails, and jolef rice. Loved it!! The atmosphere was peaceful, clean, and beautifully decorated. And we really enjoyed the afro beats playing in the background. The best part, was the Waiter. He was very attentive and checked on us the whole time. Turns out, he was the owner (Mayowa). Talk about VIP!! This is a great place to have small parties and team luncheons. We will be back soon. Thanks again!

I had a very pleasant experience at this very upscale Jamaican, and Nigerian fusion restaurant. The ambiance alone is a 5+—elegant, upscale, and thoughtfully designed, making it perfect for a special Caribbean night out. The food completely exceeded my expectations. The oxtail was incredibly authentic of Jamaica, tender, flavorful, and mouthwatering. The rice and peas were the best I’ve had in the U.S., with a rich, smoky flavor that’s hard to describe but beautifully enhanced the classic coconut-infused taste you’d expect from home-style cooking. Every bite felt comforting and genuine. Even the patty tasted just like the ones in Jamaica, which was such a pleasant surprise. Overall, it was truly a treat from start to finish.
