Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- TRThomas RMay 28, 20261.0**Attention Joe Lopez Jr.** We had stopped coming to this location while Joseph Martinez was the GM due to continuous bad experiences and gave it another try under the management of Joe Lopez Jr. Still received an extremely poor experience with both wait time and order accuracy. We placed 2 curbside orders at the same time and received 1 within 10 minutes and the other order took over 25 minutes to get ( I had to get down and go inside, meanwhile the first order was already cold by the time the 2nd came out.) Once we got home and reheated the food we noticed the burger could not have been any further messed up from how we ordered it. (See attached photo) we also paid extra for bacon and jalapeños on the burger which we got none of. When I got my 2nd order inside that took well over 25 minutes to get, the staff did not care that it took almost half an hour to get my food and that my 1st order was already cold. Absolutely terrible experience, this location not only wasted a lot of my time but also stole my money by not giving us the items that were charged additionally to the combo. Guess Joe Lopez Jr. Isn't any better at running a fast food joint than his predecessor who he replaced. Will drive the extra few miles to go to another location even tho this one is 2 minutes from my house.
