3.8 Overall rating. I am a foodie critic...and the 4.5 rating this place had...brought me to its front steps. Kinda disappointed...but i don't think i could expect more from an HEB run restaurant. Food is PLENTIFUL...TOO MUCH FOR ME...but i can see where amount of food served is GREAT value to others. Meat tasted "meh"..actually..every side dish tasted "meh". Ambience is cool. Where else can you sit to have a meal and watch guys treating their "sanchas" to Roses from HEB plant kiosk. Review might have maxed out at 4 tops if the prices were lower. Prices are in par with places like Black Diamond BBQ which is MILES better tasting than this "canned"food eatery. Hope this review helps anyone wanting to try BBQ in mcallen. Thats all i got folks.
