  Simply put, we love Il Forno a Legna and have since we started coming 9 years ago. The food is delicious and elevated, in a upscale setting that is still casual enough for a drop in when nothing but pasta will do. Our service has always been top notch - special shout out to James who we've run into a few times lately, and has been so excellent with our son and provided a wonderful experience!

  It seems like it’s going to be good when you walk in, but when the appetizer came out (Arancini) it was pretty much cold and tasted like shit. I also got a Caesar salad with like a tablespoon of dressing on it and was super mid. Then I got the rigatoni pomodoro with chicken, and it was edible but very boring. I’ve made better food at home. Not to mention, there wasn’t 1 Italian in the entire kitchen lol and it seems like they don’t know how to season any of the food… the cooks also looked extremely miserable which seems to explain the lack of flavor in the food. Do better, you’re charging way too much.

  In today's restaurant climate italian cuisine is becoming as prevalent as burger joints. That being said there is still standout places. A prime example of one of those restaurants is Il Forno. An unassuming location in a commercial area. Its humble exterior is a facade at best. A charming and lively Italian restarante with warm and welcoming staff, a decadent wine list and an authentic stone pizza oven. The menu is undeniably diverse and enticing. The star of the show is the staff. Very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Always honest and informative when it comes to the menu. Our server, Jaymes was the epitome of these qualities. His service would have made an average dinning experience five star.

  Food is excellent and the waitstaff is amazing. I interacted with the bartender John who was kind and a lot of fun in our interaction. I ordered the house wine and it was ok a bit too sweet for a Cab. Then, my waiter Christian recommended Palermo and I really enjoyed it so much that I purchased a bottle for the table. It hit the spot and went perfect with my meal and dessert. Christian was amazing and extremely patient with me. Kiddos to him for keeping it together for such a high maintenance customer and table, he ensured that our experience was excellent. James was also so sweet with his interactions with us. Overall we were so pleased with the amazing staff and food. The only place where I feel this restaurant lacking is in its dessert. We tried 2 different desserts and unfortunately they fall short there by lacking flavor kitchen staff really needs to work on this part of the experience. Overall keep up the good job. We look forward to a new experience next time we come back. We will definitely try this place again in the near future. Keep up the great work and kitchen staff and chef, I look forward to an all around experience.

  our server, christopher did an excellent job, he had jokes, was a great conversationalist, and provided great service. he is very attentive and caring to his tables. on top of that, our pizza and pasta were fantastic!
