I arrived and was denied my groceries because curbside closes at 10pm. Why have a time frame that allows you to pick up at 10 if they close at 10? Why not have the time frame from 9:30-9:50?

- DGDavid GutierrezAug 4, 20265.0H-E-B didn’t just raise the bar, they took the bar, seasoned it with Fiesta Brand spices, wrapped it in fresh tortillas, and sold it to me for a reasonable price. I walked in for a gallon of milk. Four hours later I emerged with enough groceries to feed a medieval kingdom, a smoker I didn’t plan on buying, six bags of tortilla chips, emotional stability, and what I can only assume was a personal blessing from the bakery department. The produce is so fresh the lettuce was still gossiping about the farm it came from. The tortillas were so warm I almost proposed to the tortilla lady. The brisket smelled so good I briefly considered abandoning my career to become a pitmaster. Every employee somehow knew exactly where everything was. I could’ve asked for a left-handed organic Himalayan goose egg seasoned with unicorn tears and someone would’ve said, “Aisle 14, halfway down on your right.” Checkout was faster than my kids hearing the words “ice cream.” They even bagged everything with the precision of NASA engineers preparing a Mars mission. Scientists should study H-E-B because I’m convinced they’re violating several laws of physics. Five stars? Absolutely not. I demand Google invent a sixth star exclusively for H-E-B. If Texas ever secedes, I’m voting for H-E-B as President.
