Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- JGJoseph Green5 days ago1.0Slowest Whataburger I have ever been to everytime, I wait 30-45 min and if I didn’t already pay placing a mobile order I would have drove off. Get my coke it’s only half way full. Atleast 10 cars waiting for their food aswell.

Ben, the cashier, stood out to me the most. He was incredibly attentive and constantly moving! Helping customers in front, managing the drive-thru, and doing everything he could to keep things running smoothly for both his team and the store. Even though things were a little slow, it was obvious the delay wasn’t from lack of effort. People forget that just because employees are getting paid doesn’t mean they aren’t human beings doing their best under pressure. A little patience and kindness goes a long way. Ben was outstanding, and the other Black male employee helping him was also working hard and deserved recognition too. Thank you to the team for pushing through and still providing good service.

They were very polite, professional, and made sure everything was handled the right way. The food came out fresh and exactly as expected, and you can tell they take pride in what they do. It’s not every day you get that level of service at a fast food restaurant, so I definitely wanted to recognize them. Appreciate the great service—keep up the good work!
