Got the chopped sauced brisket loaded potatoes, chopped sauced brisket sandwich, two meat plate with lean brisket and sauced brisket, mac and cheese, greens, creamed corn and fried okra. A bit disappointed with the lean brisket today, which had a bark so charred and hard that it was very difficult to eat, so I pulled it off from the rest of the meat, which was drier today than it was the last time I purchased it. The fried okra was just ok. The greens were tasty with a nice smokiness, but super mushy. The mac and cheese was ok, but the cheese sauce was thinner than I expected and prefer. The chopped brisket loaded baked potatoes were good, and probably what I enjoyed the most from what we got. My daughter enjoyed the creamed corn. I visited once before and got takeout and the quality was way better, so I'm not sure what happened today.

- SBS BSep 3, 20261.0I purchased over $100 worth of food and was missing the turkey that came with my meal. Called the store and they REFUSED to issue a refund over the phone and stated I had to come back to the store. Mind you not everyone lives close by to be able to just quickly run back up there to replace/refund missing items. I was not going to drive another 40 minutes back up there and so was expecting them to make it right by just refunding me over the phone. No help from the manager as I waited on the line over 30 minutes and no one came back to the line to assist me. Definitely poor customer service with no regard for the customers that keep you in business.

I used to smoke brisket and barbecue on a pit myself for a previous job, so I can confidently say the burnt ends and fatty brisket were great. The bark is always the best part of course.😁
