We tried Bojangles for the first time today. It was quite busy inside but the interior was clean and well kept. All the employees were very kind and helpful. We enjoyed the chicken and felt that it was well seasoned as well as crunchy. However, we did not like the Bo’s Signature Sauce (although we do not like horseradish and did not know the sauce is horseradish based) BUT Braedon was an exceptional employee and replaced the sauce for us (fantastic service!). Another downside was that the app is not available for use at this location yet due to an issue with corporate setting it up so we couldn’t use the free sandwich offer as we had hoped or earn points for the visit which is a bit of a bummer. We will probably come again though in the future!

Finally, a chicken restaurant with something new to offer. Give them a try. The chicken tenders are good. They have a hint of heat. Not enough to hide the flavor of the chicken, though. They offer 6 different dipping sauces. We tried 3. The Bo's Sauce - many will love it. I can't describe it. Very tasty mix of flavors (just not my cup of tea), Honey Mustard (with an unnecessary touch of vinegar & horseradish), and BBQ (sweet & hot). The Chicken sandwich, however was hot. I'm not sure if it was the seasoning on the chicken, or the sauce. They should call it the Hot Chicken Sandwich. It was a little too hot for my taste, because it prevented me from tasting the chicken itself. Many who like hot chicken will love it. Just not my personal style. We ordered a variety of foods to try, because we've never eaten at a Bojangles before. Almost nothing we ordered was a disappointment. The Boberry shake was delicious. Not quite blueberry, or blackberry - but a great mixed berry flavor. The lemonade was way too acidic. It tasted like Lemon peel-ade. The mix was not right. Once we watered it down, it was drinkable, but still not good lemonade. The Peach Cobbler was not. It was very tasty, but it was peach topping on a standard southern-style biscuit. Not a cobbler, but still a tasty treat. The fries were very good. They came with a seasoning on them that had a great flavor. You don't even need ketchup. They're good as they are. They were slightly over-seasoned, but just slightly. The Dirty Rice was as good as you'd expect from any restaurant, and the best I've ever had in a fast food restaurant. The Mac N' Cheese was almost perfect. The cheese was just right. There was something in them like a shredded meat. It gave a nice texture, but whatever it was, got lost in the great cheese. Whatever that flavor was, we could have used more of it to make an impact. The meal came with 1/2 gallon of tea. I don't care for tea. This tea was just a strong enough tea flavor, really perfect. It wasn't as watered down as most restaurants. It was sweetened, but not overly so, like it is in most restaurants. They have an entire breakfast menu featuring their southern-style biscuits, which is served all day. We did not try any of that. We will next time. The food was very reasonably priced and came out without a long wait. Ample parking, seating, etc.

I visited the new Bojangles in Mansfield, TX, today for lunch, and unfortunately, my experience was a bit disappointing. I understand that restaurants can get busy and that customers may occasionally have issues with their orders. However, I waited in the drive-thru for about 15 minutes while an issue was being resolved with another customer’s food. Restaurant owners and managers should take into consideration that many people are on restricted lunch breaks and need to get in and out quickly. Whatever happened to asking a customer who is having an issue with their order to pull out of the line so the other customers can continue being served? To add insult to injury, the chicken tenders I received were some of the smallest I’ve ever seen. I will say that the staff did recognize the inconvenience and gave me two complimentary blueberry biscuits for the long wait, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the biscuits were overdone, hard, and had an overpowering taste of baking powder. I understand that this location is new, so I’m willing to give them some grace as they work out the kinks. However, I would encourage management to look at how they handle customer issues during busy lunch periods. If a customer needs additional time to resolve an issue with their order, perhaps ask them to pull aside or wait in a designated area so the line can continue moving. Waiting 12–15 minutes for food during a lunch rush is a long time, especially for customers who are trying to make it back to work on time. Hopefully, this is something the team can improve as the restaurant gets more established.

Very disappointing experience at a new location. I arrived shortly after 10 PM, and the posted closing time was 11 PM. Another car and I sat in the drive-thru trying to order while employees could clearly be seen inside watching us and laughing instead of assisting us. When another vehicle pulled up to the windows, the employees walked away. I also called several times to see if they had closed early, but every call went to voicemail. If the store closed early, someone could have simply communicated that instead of ignoring customers. I hope management reviews what happened tonight and addresses it with the staff. This was a terrible first impression and extremely disappointing customer service.

According to reviews I am disappointed, I was looking forward to coming to try this "southern experience " but with all the negative comments about food, service and brand new establishment opening that it should be dirty. If its dirty in the lobby for everyone to see...what does it look like in the areas we can't see? I think I will wait to visit, maybe never until I see more good, positive comments and experience people have is considerably more than negative because of course you can't make everyone happy and I realize that but when the consensus of comments are bad...you are bad and in serious need of improving. Just saying because face it I don't even want to try because of what people have experienced at your establishment
