  Ordered the 2 neighbor special. This time opted for the mild. The mild seasoning seemed to be dusting of Cajun seasoning on top of the coating instead of throughout the fish/chicken. Greens were a bit salty this time. Food was good. I've ordered multiple times this mis step won't deter me from ordering again. I'll go back to just the regular fry which is always great!

  I ordered a 3 wing chicken basket with mac & cheese, a side of potato salad, and a bottled water. I had a very disappointing experience here today as my first visit and will not return. The table was dirty when we were seated, and even the salt and pepper shakers and napkin holder were grimy and poorly maintained. The potato salad tasted like it came straight from a bulk store, and I didn’t eat more than that first bite. When asked I was told it is not homemade. I was told the mac & cheese was homemade although it was runny with no real cheese consistency holding it together; it was like a soup texture and the flavor profile tasted like bagged shredded cheese with that powdery film on it. The chicken wings were cooked properly as I asked for a hard fry but that’s about the only positive. The chicken batter had no flavor, and it seemed like the spice was from what was sprinkled on afterward as an afterthought. When I mentioned the potato salad issue, I was simply told “sorry,” and when I asked for a refund of $5.20 plus tax, I was told they don’t provide refunds. I didn’t even go into all the other concerns about the food because it is not worth the hassle when someone does not want to listen. So the customer is in the negative $5.20, plus tax for the potato salad, which I left at the register. I was offered an alternative item, although that turned into another issue unfortunately. For a place presenting itself as a Southern-style kitchen with Nashville roots, this was far from authentic from Nashville’s quality and flavors. This felt like a poor imitation.

  The restaurant was clean even down to the restroom. The staff was friendly. Prices were ok except I purchased a side for $5 and it was rather small. Collard greens were a little sweet but not overly seasoned. The smoked turkey added to flavor. The Mac and cheese was better than chicken. Chicken was slightly seasoned but ok. Decent visit but I nothing was a must have for me

  Number one place for catfish! They make everything fresh so it takes a little time but oh so worth it! My lunch crew says the chicken is just as good. Great service great food.

  Chicken was very well seasoned and tasty. I got the 2 piece leg and thigh which came with fries but I ordered some mac and cheese as well. This was my first time and I will definitely be back.
