Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

The order took over an hour and half to be ready then when it arrived the onion rings were not in the delivery. We contacted what a burger they said they would send them out immediately. No charge. The order as usual took over two hours to arrive. This franchise started out with great success. Excellent service , fast service. That lasted for a few years. The place has gone downhill since. The food is never hot. The quality is poor. The service is slow and the employees are usually rude. The management is the problem. They don’t care if they provide good food or service. For the high cost of the food they provide , you would think it would be served warm and served with a smile. Not at this greasy spoon low budget establishment. I won’t eat here again. I will never recommend it to anyone. I will always inform anyone who cares to hear it that the place is dump.

New store, new staff, new management so I gave them benefit of the doubt. Last few times I have been in, they have hired a new employee named Marissa, who has been extremely friendly, kind, attentive and truly looks like she’s enjoying her job. She has an infectious joy and warm demeanor that makes me really happy to go in. Keep up the hard work Marissa and thanks for making this my favorite Whataburger!
