  Once again, they forgot to give me all of my groceries. Now I have to drive all the way back there because the items I needed for dinner were left out. Like we have extra time to waste, or like gas is cheap. 😒 extremely disappointed!!!

  I’m so disappointed to be writing this, but since internal feedback and phone calls haven’t fixed the problem, I’m hoping a review will get the right person’s attention. I love HEB, especially THIS HEB, but I’m done throwing money away giving them opportunities to correct their issues. For two months, every weekly grocery order has come with expired, borderline rotten strawberries in my precut package. These strawberries are white, mushy, have brown cores, and black seeds. It costs $6, double the cost of an uncut box of strawberries, but with 1/3 of the fruit. I pay extra for the convenience, but I also expect this more expensive fruit to be firm, red, and fresh. Instead, these strawberries are so smooshy, my fingers sink into them when I try to pick one up. I’ve shopped at dozens of HEBs all over Texas, and I have never received such disgusting produce from any of the other stores. If it happened once, I’d call it a fluke, but 8 weeks in a row, it’s clearly a deliberate management decision. My guess is that they’re just dumping the unsold, expired fruit in a new container and putting a new sticker on it. And since it’s in a clear container, I’m sure no one is willing purchasing these disgusting fruits, so they are likely several weeks old. Produce is so cheap, just throw out the disgusting expired fruit instead of trying to push the loss on your loyal customers. It’s shameful. I don’t want a refund, I want edible strawberries! It’s not about the money, it’s a matter of principle. I have asked them repeatedly to address this, so for now I’m switching stores. I will stop by at some point in the future to see if there’s been any improvement, if I see fresh fruit, I will remove this review. If this is still posted, I’d advise you to buy your produce elsewhere. Just check out the pics. Would you want to pop one of these in your mouth?

  Always come here to stock up, as there's good produce here, for what I usually get at least. & There's good meats & fish/marine life (well...once lived) here you really can't find anywhere else...this place has been my go to reliable place for years to stock up & get good quality products. Always satisfied when I walk out. The folks who work here are always friendly as well, makes you feel more relaxed. It keeps the people in a good mood stayin in a good mood if not a bit better. My youngins n I have a good time here. 😎🙃 Tschüss!

  I am so happy that HEB has come to our area. I have had experiences with people in almost every department and everyone has been great including the exceptional customer service desk. Curbside is really good too and lots of good quality items and good prices . One person complained about the big red cart professional shoppers and how they can be rude and take up a-lot of room , but I prefer one person shopping for many with the red carts as opposed to the amount of people that they are shopping for. Also the red cart people have helped me to find items or contact other people in the store with no problems even though it’s really not there job. One request I have is for some new handicap electric shopping carts , but hallelujah it is great to have them. Thank you HEB🙏❤️
