  So my family and I usually frequent Toasted Yolk in Lumberton once a week. My wife orders the West Coast Arnold as always. This time around she finishes one piece and starts to eat the other one and notices the egg white is raw and runny so gets disgusted and I let the waitress know who offers to remake it. The manager shows up who is obviously a deaf mute because she barely talks and mutters that they'd remake it. The waitress arrives with 1 poached egg in a container lol...smh. After paying $19.02 for the meal they could have remade the one sandwich piece, I mean hell I can make my own poached egg at home that's not what I paid for. Pretty ridiculous, this is the second bad experience....1st I didnt post review about but my wife and son went to eat and my wife sat literally 20 mins while the young waitresses chit chatted with each other and hadn't approached her to take her order and there was barely anyone there that day and she got up and left and they said nada and watched her leave. Won't be going back....for the price I pay I think handing my wife a poached egg in a container is ridiculous, I literally laughed as we left and left it sitting on the table....must be a generation thing. I guess that's what happens when you hire a bunch of high school girls to run your establishment.... I still left waitress a $ 20 tip, it obviously wasnt her idea to have the poached egg remade to replace the entire sandwich piece....

  We have regularly dined at this location since they opened and have always received excellent service! The staff has always been extremely attentive and friendly. The food has always gotten to our table quickly and has been delicious. This past Sunday was no exception. Falon did an excellent job with our order even though I requested mine to be a little different than what was on the menu. Everything was delicious!

  I had a great experience at Toasted Yolk Cafe! The food was fresh, delicious, and came out quickly. The atmosphere was clean, welcoming, and made for a great meal. A special shoutout to the hostesses, Rylee and Alexis, for being so friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. They were professional, had great attitudes, and made us feel right at home. Excellent customer service and great food— I’ll definitely be back!
